I brought it with me on a car camping trip and work up that next morning feeling great! The pad is super compact and blows up ..
When I first started camping I purchased the cheapest gear I could get. I'm now in my early 30's and after a few mornings waking up with a sore back I was ready to write off camping as a young mans hobby. I demoed the Big Agnes Air Core sleeping pad and thought it was worth a try. I brought it with me on a car camping trip and work up that next morning feeling great! The pad is super compact and blows up easy. I purchased one for my girlfriend thinking I may be able to change her mind about camping (she's not a fan) and she also loved it. Thank you BA!!!!!

Interesting
I love the small size is packs to, compared to my self-inflating thermarest. Takes about five minutes to inflate and is about three times as thick as my old camp pad. One thing I don't like is the nylon cover keeps a static charge and grass and dirt stick to it easily. I couldn't wipe or shack the dirt off of it before breaking camp. Maybe not a problem at other times, but on a dry California winter day, it was a hassle.

hard to fault - but they changed the valve.
great, warm, comfy pad... flip it I summer for a great, cool, comfy pad. but where did the brass valve go? the BA reps used to talk up the brass valve left right and sideways, and giant would never ever fail ever, and now there's a plastic valve like everyone else. I appreciate light gear as much as the next guy, but sometimes reliability trumps lightness... I guess I will cross my fingers and hope it lasts.

This is a thick and really comfortable pad. Not sure how well it does in winter because so far it's only been on summer trips with me. I am 5'10" 185 lbs and I bought the long version and that was a nice extra but I should have gotten the wide version also, it's only 20" wide so got a little spare room at the hips but not quite enough at the shoulders but it still works great. The only complaint I have is that it is very noisy when you move around but for the price you can't beat it.

Great price for a great product
As someone used to camping on a double-high air mattress I was skeptical that I'd be happy with any sleeping pad--but this is wonderful! It doesn't take too long to blow up, it's thick enough to give you some flexibility in exactly how firm you want it, and rolls up nice and small (and light!) for backpacking. A great product at a much lower price point than the fancier models. Spent two nights on this and didn't miss the giant air mattress at all!

Very Comfortable and warm when soaking wet.
Mine got a slow leak first trip out. I'm bummed. Tried finding the leak in the hot tub, in order to patch it, can't find it. On the good side, it is warm and insulating even if you had to swim the Eagle River ford site to get to camp. Or if your rain fly fills your tent with water because you touched the side, woke up with a puddle under it, but it did not bother me. All dry and warm inside.

Not too shabby!
Great pad! I do wish that the side baffles were a little larger but other than that I love it. Took it on a 3 week trip out west to canyon country in May with temperatures ranging from 20ยฐ~90ยฐ F. It kept me warm and plenty comfortable. It packs down nice and small and so far it has held up very nice.

Comfortable under your sleeping bag and easy to blow up ...
Comfortable under your sleeping bag and easy to blow up and deflate. I don't know about the insulating properties, though. I had to buy a bag liner for my 30 degree bag because the uninsulated bottom of my Big Agness sleeping bag was cold.
