Singular Sound BBM2 Beat Buddy Mini 2,Silver

I really enjoy using this beat buddy mini 2. It’s excellent for jamming or practicing with and you could definitely get away with doing a small gig with it. Once you get your head around where to put the fills in with your playing it’s great. Easy to use and sound quality is good.

Although I play in a small gigging band, I spend a lot of time playing at home for practice and pleasure. After talking to a friend about the Beat Buddy I took the plunge and I've not been disappointed.Well built, great sounding and dead easy to use, this pedal has a large selection of beats that are fun and inspiring to play against. As others have said its better than the dull click of metronome when practicing scales etc, and as a writer I've found it more flexible to try things out against than a standard looper pedal . If you intend to use this live and want more flexibility and programmability then its bigger brother is the one for you, but for me this was spot on.

It's a really nice product and worths every dollar, the best:-easy to use-200 songs to jam, a lot of genres-good sound, even when connected to your amp's input-solid as a rockThings to improve:-if you are looking for a song with a specific time signature (different of 4/4), it takes a lot of time to find it. Maybe it's a good idea if it could convert any song to 6/8 time signature or that the pedal has a separate section with this songsOutline: definitely this pedal will improve your rhythm capabilities, and it will take your practices and jams to another level.

Much better than expected. Great selection of drum tracks and helped to match to tunes through the on line Singular Sound matching tool. Nothing beats having a live drummer but this is the next best thing! Very easy to use and have been using a Boss foot switch to turn off quickly when recording with a looper.

Beat buddy mini 2 is a good product and is easy to use. You can connect a electric guitar to beat buddy and connect beat buddy to the amp. If your using beat buddy in the UK you need to buy a UK adaptor as it only comes with a USA adaptor I recommend the myvolts AC 9v adaptor

I love it is very simple to use and worth for money, the sound quality is very nice too.

Note: You need to be very careful about which 9v power supply you use with this pedal. I tried 2 different power sources that worked perfectly well with Boss, Ditto and Korg pedals but each created a loud hum from the Beat Buddy. Initially I thought it was a problem with the Beat Buddy.I then purchased a new Berls 9v supply (still with no earth connection) which works fine. I'll leave the more electrically minded to say why one works and others don't.Unfortunately the forums and quick-start instructions don't highlight this potential problem

Not too keen on some of the fills (too busy). Lots of beats there I wouldn't use but good sound.Simple to use with an hour of practice.
