Easy to use and effective; simply plug the timer in to any standard UK socket and programme by pushing down the segments reflecting the time you wish the appliance to be on. Control the time and set with the rotating dial. Each segment controls 15 minutes and switching patterns are repeated over a 24 hour cycle. Amazing price!
Wanting a couple of mains plug timers, I was amazed at the price of these on Amazon at (currently) just £1.99 each - including Prime next day delivery! Indeed, Lloytron is a well recognised manufacturer of cost-effective electrical goods.A quick search on Amazon shows similar mains timers costing at least twice this price. I often buy items like this in IKEA where a pack of 2 similar timers retails for £6.50 (£2.50 more than a pair of these). That said, you can have a reasonably priced lunch of meatballs in IKEA - and that's, not yet, a feature of Amazon Prime....My timers arrived promptly and, pleasant surprise, their clear plastic packaging is easy to pop open - with no need for scissors or other tools! The timers appear to be reasonably well made and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. I have used these timers to turn a couple of table lamps on and off and, after 2 weeks, thy are working fine. In my experience, no mechanical timer lasts forever, however, these appear to be as well made as any others I have purchased and I currently have no doubt they will last well.My only gripe is that they are a tad wider than some other timers available. As such, things can be a bit tight when using them on, say, an extension lead. However, I have found that by fitting adjacent plugs first, these will just fit over them (see my photo).In conclusion, at the current price, these timers are absolute bargain - grab them quick!We are very satisfied.

Delivery and pick up fast but item didn’t work at all
Very fast next day delivery but unfortunately even after plugged in for 24 hours to charge the back up battery it didn’t work. Returns collection was lightening fast.
