This Tach actually has a ground wire.
Really, my only complaint is the sensor wire that wraps around the spark plug ignition wire, (unlike my last unit ) doesn't have enough integrity to stay on the wire by itself. (must use the supplied zip ties). Way more difficult than it should have been. Other than that, this unit works fine.

Lead is too short for a vehicle and no backlight. Besides that it does it job.

Mud Motor Replacement
Bought this to replace the TinyTac that was on my Vanguard 35HP MudBuddy. Perfect replacement and same size as factory tach. Highly recommend.

No back light
The pic used has backlit this does not so for 2 dollars more I can get one with the light if I would have known this I would not have got it.
