Theatrical Design and Production: An Introduction to Scene Design and Construction, Lighting, Sound, Costume, and Makeup

This was one of my texbooks in college. I bought my college text, and I bought this one for a friend who is also a high school theatre director. Lots of great ideas for what to do with those lights you bought for the auditorium and don't know quite how to make look spectacular, and great instructions for building safe scenery that's also easy to move. When the shop teacher isn't willing, and you've got the skills yourself, this is to go-to how-to.

Great book, very informative. Perfect for anyone interested in what goes on behind the scenes and set in films and theatre. Probably best book I've ever seen on theatre, and a real deal price, too. Love it, and read it all the time.

Pretty simple book, easy to look up quick information. I got this edition even when we needed a newer one but it still had all the information I needed.

This got me through my tech theatre class. Granted, it was a slightly older edition, but it did just fine nonetheless.

This is a great, easy to read text book. I dropped the class, but held onto the book to read. Very good information.
