Does this fix the high pressure steam leak that makes the portafilter pop off and continue leaking pressure?

I would advise keep searching for troubleshooting tips on dedicated blogs. This part fits perfectly at least for delonghi Kmix DES02BK. Was used for overhaul pump and valve for low pressure from portafilter outlet with internal leak. You Might need the orings and replacement plastic tubes with the slip-on metal hoseclamps, which are not provided.
