I can finally understand TV show dialogue again.
I just got the Signia Stream Live TV transmitter connected to my hearing aids. The instruction booklet did not say anything about hitting the Stream live icon on the Signia app to start streaming. My app was older, so I did not have the necessary icon. YouTube video instructions showed the proper way to do it. After I updated my Signia App and used the Stream Live icon it worked well. When I turn the TV off my hearing aids auto reconnect to my phone. When I turn the TV back on and want to connect the TV back to my hearing aids, I just have to use the icon again on the Signia APP on my smartphone. I use the optical output from the TV to the Stream Live transmitter. The Stream Live transmitter has an optical output tat I connected to the BOSE soundbar. My wife can adjust the soundbar to a comfortable volume for her while I listen to the TV clearly through the hearing aids. As a test we turned on the West Wing. The West Wing TV show uses incredibly fast dialogue, so fast the Captioning can barely keep up. For the first time in many years, I was able to hear and understand the dialogue, follow along with the show WITHOUT the use of close captioning. I did not notice any lag in the audio (characters lip movements matched what I was hearing). This is my review on just the first day. If problems occur later, I will update the review. I am so looking forward to watching TV with my wife at night where we are both comfortable with sound volume and we both hear the dialogue without the use of cations.

After having the first shipment lost. The second arrived and the product is great. Easy to set up and it works fine.

Too sharp and tinny
I really, really wanted to like this streamer because I have a hard time listening to TV with others and I was hoping this would help. But I ended up returning it.My problem is the sound was very sharp an tinny and I could hardly stand listening to it, although it did make the TV louder. Also, when you stream from the TV it cuts out the rest of the hearing aid so its impossible hear other people at the same time. I got so I would disable it during commercials so I could talk to people and then enabled it again once the show started. But that got old fast.I had high hopes for this and was disappointed that it didn't work.

Works well until it doesn’t
Great for five months but now will not power up. It’s plugged into a good receptacle but the power light remains dark. Checked the owners manual and the Signia website. Can’t find where I can get advice, repair or replacement. There doesn’t appear to be any customer support. Do not recommend.

WOW
Ive been using hearing aids for around a year, tv sound going up and down drove me crazy. Easy hook up and set up. Really enjoy watching tv. One of the best investments I have ever made. I used this for a week and ordered another for a different tv. You cant have 2 units in the same house. Going to send last one back. These things work great.
