I'm pretty happy with this. Used to sharpen my dull kitchen knife and a hatchet. I used another sharpener from QVC shopping network for the kitchen knifes. That one would not get the knife sharp enough to slice a tomato. This Fiskars sharpener did! For the hatchet, it was dull for years.. I used a separate grinding wheel to form a rough edge/angle. Then I finished it off with the Fiskars. The hatchet was my friends so I'm not sure how the edge Will hold. He rarely uses it. I also improved the factory edge on my brown Gerber hatchet. It came barely sharpened. The Fiskars did a good job. 30° axe angle allowed me to slice through construction paper. 15° knife side allowed my kitchen knife to slice through notebook paper with ease. TIP: Finishing off the edge, use a lighter pressure.

Awesome sharpener! Use it on knives and axes and it cleans up the edge real nice and brings them back to life! Easy to use and worth every penny!!

This works fine, it’s kinda flimsy but it’s cheap. My issue is that I thought it would take down he entire bevel surface, but in use, it only sharpens the first 2 mm or so of the bevel. I keep it around in the field for emergency touch ups, but will continue to sharpen with a diamond file at home for general maintenance.

Works great! Sharpens my Fiskars axes and hatches perfectly and even sharpens a pocket knife pretty well too.

I now own three of these Fiskars sharpeners, totally happy with them. I keep one in the garage for my hatchets and knives. One in the kitchen for kitchen knives, and one with my personal edc knives. Puts a great edge on any blade. Highly recommend this product.

To be blunt, this product isn't the best built doesn't even fit my Fiskars 8LB maul, and hardly fits my Fiskars 6LB axe. If your looking to sharpen your axe or axes, I would not recommend this product. Sharpening knifes, and smaller things might be good for. I didn't buy this for knifes and small stuff got this to sharpen my axes and it clearly does not work the way it said it would. Within the first minute of trying to sharpen my axe it broke and came apart and I had to take it apart and fix the 2 stones inside to sit back in the spot it needs to sit, and also it's flimsy and small and trying to hold it while trying to sharpen the axe makes it vary hard.

Not very sturdy... Okay for knives, but not axes

Product arrived on time and well packaged. Use it to keep the edge on a Fiskar's ax and hatched. I use it after every use and it has maintained the edge beautifully. Not quite as good as new but quite good and I am very pleased with how it works.

Build quality is solid, five stars, as expected from Fiskars. I have concerns about the sharpening angle, for my knives and machete. And my axe doesn't fit inside the notch, so no axe sharpening for me.

Franchement, j’étais sceptique au début. Ça ne semble qu'un vulgaire bout de plastique avec une pierre à affuter. Mais à l'usage, il est impressionnant. Déjà, c'est ultra léger. L'affutage des couteaux est de très bonne qualité. Je l'avais acheté pour affûter mes outils de jardin. Les deux positions d'affûtage est pratique . Rapidement, j'ai changé mon utilisation pour le garder en cuisine tellement l'affûtage est impressionnant (pour moi). Ne vous attendez pas à refaire le fils de coupe. Ce n'est pas son but.
