It is water tight?** A: No the holes do not go all the way through. The box is water tight. You can mount the box by drilling through the holes in the box but you need to use a small rubber washer when mounting the box outdoors. I have mine mounted on a block wall and have had no leaks what so ever. **Q: I need a box with inner dimensions about 8.25 by 6.25. It does what I expected. I drilled holes and added grommets for weather tight seals for the wiring out of the box. Works great.
