DRITZ-Knit Picker is a tiny latch hook that grabs the snag and then pulls it through to the wrong side, and it's fixed. Knit Picker has a 3" latch hook tip. Review: Sturdiness is AWESOME! - Iโm not sure if itโs just me or what but Iโve gone through several of these and they always come apart within a week or so. These have stayed together and work great. Review: just Great - These are great little gadgets perfect for a pool and a sweater.

Exactly what I ordered
I use this knit picker to pull threads back through stitches when using a serger. It has been a game changer for me. I would recommend to any sewist that uses a serger.

Great for catching snags
I keep one in my closet and one in my sewing room to catch snags and pull them through. I don't know how people get along in life without at least one of these.

not as good as previous models - but a terrific gadget
The design is the same, but the build isn't as good. Fastening pin protrudes and doesn't allow easy movement of the hook piece. Since you are likely to be using these on knits, the tool is going to be too coarse for a fine knit. Probably being outsourced to China; older ones were US-made. Still, there isn't anything equivalent, so this is what we've got! (I had to buy a duplicate bcs my "good one" was packed away.) mb I use the following for fine knits (it's just a tiny rat tail file): https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B003PTVS68/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Let me note here that this one also has dropped in quality. The file is quite coarse (much coarser than the one that is ... you guessed it ... packed away), so I had to take 100-grit sandpaper to it to smooth out the edges. Don't drag it thru your fine knits without smoothing it out and then trying in an unobtrusive area.

Use this on a rug and it works well
Pulls loose loops back perfectly even through a backing (but not a bonded rubber base).

Simple to use, worth every penny
This wonderful tool has literally saved me a lot of money. I have been able to get rid of that unsightly snag and continue to wear so many of my favorite pieces of clothing. It works best on knits and fabrics that have rather large spaces between the threads. If you have a tight weave, the width of this tool could stretch the opening or break threads.

smaller than expected
these were smaller than I thought they would be so find it hard to use with my arthritic hands

efficacy
I am glad that these tag pullers are sold in pairs because I find tags in my wool sweaters in different places at home. Keep them handy where you sit and take your sweater off and pull each tag through the inside so it doesn't show. They are irreplaceable and work wonders to make your sweaters look like new. And they are not expensive when you consider the results of their use.
