AquilaAlabastro 19C Set of Classical Guitar Strings (Normal Tension, Nylgut Material with Percussive Sound)

I wanted to do just that, but I'm glad I waited. These strings take a few days to settle in and sound the way they're supposed to. I got another set for my cedar-topped dark sounding guitar and it's a completely new animal now. In fact, it's become perfect. Balanced, well rounded, percussive when needed, and smooth. I don't have nails and they are good for this. However, I'm currently growing nails, and I think they'll be just fine. Great strings!

So... they sound good. But. The d and a strings began to rust and thread away before I even finished restringing it. (About 30 hours、 I take my sweet time doing that.) I think next time I go to my local guitar store for strings. This was bad. I have to get new strings for it not even a week after restringing my guitar. Very disappointing.

BEING A MUSICIAN & HAVING GONE THROUGH MANY BRANDS & TYPES OF STRINGS, I HAVE FOUND "AQUILA" TO BE THE BEST SO FAR * THEIR TONALITY, LIFE & SOUND IS EXACTLY AS THEY SAY IT IS. READING EACH OF THE DIFFERENT STRING SET DESCRIPTIVE IS MOST HELPFUL WHEN MAKING A CHOICE.

I have these on a Antonio Marin Montaro spruce top. They have a fine sweet tone, and feel great under the fingers. Very happy with these.

These are my favorite classical guitar strings. They have a warm and rich sound. I can't compare them to the other Aquila guitar strings, because I've had no reason to try others.

Absolutely love Aquila for my ukuleles as they are very high quality and have a really nice bright yet warm tone and these strings are no exception my one problem is they do take a considerable amount of time to stretch.

I bought these strings from Bandline and at £7.79 they are an excellent price. Choice of strings is a pretty personal thing - I like these because they give a tighter sound that the LaBella nylon set I was using and I like the feel of the top three unwound nylgut strings.

Strings sounded great but within two months sound quality became poor. D string sounds terrible. Not lasted long at all.
