Handbook of Color Psychology (Cambridge Handbooks in Psychology)

This is a very interesting book for any designer or artist. It has a scientific approach to color’s development and affect on people. The chapters on studies of gender and cultural differences (or lack of differences) in color appreciation were particularly interesting.

I would strongly discourage the buy of the kindle edition, the device limit is very limiting. It may sound odd that someone may have more than 4 devices but for everyone with a laptop, a desktop more than one iPad this limit may be a problem. I definitely regret that I bought it on Kindle. It is otherwise a good book

If you like to know how color affect human from psychology side here is the book. Academic and intellectual and easy to read.

I would be very wary about description of the book and the non-examples. I bought a book in return of the same day. It is not that good.
