Building VBA Apps: Using Microsoft Access

There is some useful information, but this isn't very useful for experienced VBA developers. The concepts are pretty basic and seem to be geared more for a beginner, which is not what you would expect based on the title. With a title like "Building VBA Apps" you would expect into more advanced concepts like making it look like a standalone windows application, customizing the ribbon, windows api, and custom classes.For more advanced learning, "VBA for Developers" and "Professional Excel Development" are 2 very good books.

Not a comprehensive Bible, but there are other references for that. But gets you started and then allows you to use other resources to answer more complex issues. I think it is a great value.

I like most is the book arrangement, first overview of the VBA coding environment and then with the VBA language is an appropriated method.

The author does a fantastic job in explaining the complexities of Access with numerous code examples.

WOW! This book in the sort time I have had it has bailed me out near a dozen times! Worth it!

I don't recommend it.

Contrary to some other reviews, I don't mind the formatting of this book so far as I've read. I've got the Kindle edition so formatting sometimes goes awry but in general it reads well, the code snippets embedded in the body of the text are immediately useful, the explanation of the whole structure of the Access VBA is pretty clear. It's a worthy addition to the VBA section of the library.

A good book even for beginners like myself. The author has a wonderful way of making you comfortable with the odd looking code in VBA; using a lot of carefully explained code examples, some of which you could use in you own applications.The graphics is very good and is visible even on a small Kindle screen.

Si vous cherchez des informations compactes et des solutions en utilisant VBA au lieu des Macros c'est justement le livre à acheter.L'auteur évite le blabla des autres livres et des forum divers.Il ne reste que la mise à jour pour la version 2016 de MS-Acces!
