Comstock Raspberry Pie Filling and Topping, 21 oz. (Pack of 8)

First off, I was concerned that I wouldn't receive a full case of 12 cans.. For $16, it seemed too good to be true. But, I did in fact receive 12 cans.. A GREAT value... Next, yes, some of the cans were dented.. Seven of them with dents, 4 with surprisingly severe dents.. But I've learned (it's not just this product) that if you're buying canned goods from Amazon, some are just going to be dented... And I've seen enough to think it's not an Amazon issue, it's a "they start that way from the canning plant, and since they can't sell them to the grocery store, off they go in a case to Amazon" issue.. Regardless, I thought the flavor was very good, with an acceptable level of actual blackberries in the can. I use various flavors of pie filling like this to mix in with my oatmeal for breakfast (and OMG, sooo-good on vanilla ice cream), and I was certainly pleased with this product for that... Might just try to make a blackberry cobbler as well... To wrap this up, overall I was pleased with the blackberry pie filling, and at the price, would definitely buy more of this when it's in stock... I took one star off of my rating due to all of the dented cans.. UPDATE: I ordered another case of these, and there were only two (out of twelve) cans that had a very minor dent each.. I am very please with the quality and price of these, and updated my rating accordingly.. They're a bargain for what you get..

Yummy. Used this to make with a peach dump cake. The recipe is on line. Only three ingredience. Great for children to bake. Just top with yellow cake mix and butter.

Only place I can get this or any brand of raspberry pie filling in Florida Love it.

This product has more tasteless cornstarch thickening and not enough peaches. Bought same brand more cherries that was wonderful!

My local store was out of stock but these were the same price delivered to my door with free shipping. I rated these 4 stars not because it taste as good as Grandma's fresh peach cobbler but for a canned product it is as good as any and conveniently always at hand in the pantry for a quick pie, cobbler or ice cream topping, the ratio of peaches to gel could have been higher and the flavor can be enhanced a bit by adding your own pie spices.

Really happy with this and the other versions. I got this, cherry, and apple and they're all excellent. I recently developed an allergy to artificial dye (especially red #40 which seems like it's in everything) and this brand/type has none of that. It's just nice fruit, some thickener, and enough sugar to be a great filling for pies, dump cakes, and cobbler.

We were unable to find raspberry pie filling anywhere in our area. This was a lifesaver. I made a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake today with fresh raspberries from the garden. It has become a family favorite.
