Great way to test drive a small variety of blades. Getting 5 of each lets you try a few without having 95 left over. Not going to rate the blades because how well they perform depends on your skin sensitivity, beard thickness, shave handle, technique, etc. However, the blades that come in this set are known for being great starter blade brands.

Allowed me to determine which blades work well for me - or not. Astra Platinums were most effective and comfortable.

The sample package of DE razor blades was a good choice to have if you are new to wet shaving. It gives you some good common blades to try out and see if they fit your skin type. For me, the Astra brand was the best , folled by the Shark. The Derby razors did not work well for me, I didn't find them sharp enough to have a good shave, but that is me. Some other people might think diffrently about the Derby razors, and that is why is good to try out different baldes to find your sweet spot.

I’ve only used one type so far and the blades are not as sharp as advertised. Once I go through a few more brand I’ll update my review.
