Hi Amanda, my eyes are watering already. These underwear are comfortable to wear. If he wants them very tight then get one size smaller. Tell him not to lift any-thing HEAVY!! or else he want be needing tight underwear we will be needing a trip to "ACCIDENT & EMERGENCY!!!

Hi Ryan I'm 36 waist and bought large which fit perfectly so I would go with their size chart. They are snug but stretchy and clingy so are not constrictively tight. Good luck with op.

Looking for travel briefs that will dry overnight or quicker. How quickly do these dry?

Depending on the temperature, probably a couple of hours!! I don’t mean to sound off putting, maybe it’s just me, but just to let you know, from my experience the pouch is tight and the back is slightly baggy. I would recommend buying LAPASA Men's 4 Pack Briefs, are they are better in quality. Hope this helps? But again

Do they really have to be washed at 30 degrees or less?

I didn’t know they were supposed to be washed at that temperature until I read this question. I’ve been washing mine at the standard 40° wash I use for most things. They don’t seem affected by that in any way. Just as good now as when I bought them. Having said that, if the recommendation is 30° there’s presumably a reason for that. I’ll be putting them in a lower temperature wash from now on (I have some T shirts that require 30°).
