Just looking at the ingredients on the side of the bottle, I would have never thought that it would make my hair feel as nice as it does. Mind you, you can't just throw it in willy-nilly and expect your hair to grow a foot overnight. I have to moisten my hair a little bit with a mixture of glycerin, aloe, and water, then apply the Wild Hair Growth to my scalp and rub it in. I have to take my time and apply it evenly and with care, or else I risk putting too much and it can build up really easily. If I'm in a rush I just put in the light version and keep going. I've been natural for more than a year and this product does assist in strengthening and softening the hair. Even my sister who has likened my hair to steel wool, noticed that my hair is much softer than it was before. I also noticed that it seemed like my hair grew faster, but I can't really say because I wasn't measuring. All I know is that before using it, I grabbed a hair from my crown and tried to put it in my mouth (don't judge me!), it didn't reach. I used this product for perhaps almost a month, and it reached with ease. Some people say that the product has a gross smell. I don't think it's a huge deal; it's like a...herbal smell, and it seems to dissipate well enough (or I think it does), and no one looks at me odd when I use it, so I'll deal with it. It's not as if it smells like sewage or anything! The product itself is amazing, but you have to give yourself and your hair the time and patience to work it though your scalp, and be sure to not use too much. If your hair is kinkier (which mine is), you can get away with using more, but you can still put too much, and that's no good.

I've been using this product line for about 3 years now, and I have to say, I really enjoy it. For those who haven't seen any difference in it, you have to give it time. Like any hair care product (dealing with growth) you're not going to see results instantly. I didn't see a difference until about 2 months of usage, and I've got some pretty crazy hair. When I decided to stop using it, other products either broke my face out or were a lot heavier than the wild growth formula. I switched back, and am glad I did. I am currently in the middle of transitioning from relaxed to natural hair, and am very glad I will not have to change hair care products in the process. A note to new users: Wild growth hair oil was originally made for women with coarse or dry hair. It comes down to trial and error with using too much or too little. While I have very dry hair, I use this product 3-4 times a week, while others probably should use it only once every other week. Smells bad? I was reading through a few reviews and noticed that many had something to say about the smell of it. Personally, I have never noticed a smell after using it, only when opening the top of the bottle. If you do have an issue, I would suggest adding the oil to a leave-in conditioner that you already like to use. That way you are still using it after you have wet or washed your hair, and the conditioner kind of masks the smell of the oil. Hope this helps.

This product works and I would not post false claims. The smell is overbearing and yes it’s greasy. That’s one thing I don’t like with any product, because my scalp itches when I use grease or oils. So, my bio for this product: I have had this product for about two months and I was eager to use it. I hear damaged my hair by flat ironing my natural hair, plus the humidity in the South (and the sun) also helped damage my hair. So I’m January I cut it all off (the big chop) and started over. My hair was past my shoulders so I was sad. I applied this stuff to my hair 3 days a week. The oil made me itchy, especially my face and skin. I may of had an allergy to one of the ingredients, however I kept using it. After two months no lie my hair when stretched out is longer, it’s on my back almost. My hair is so thick, thicker than it’s ever been. I e always had thick hair but this is thicker than I ever had it. My curls are well defined and they actually spiral now. My roots are so straight and healthy and no more split ends. I did use olive oil once a week, Paul Mitchell’s “Super Skiny” and protein treatments, along with drinking aloe Vera juice. So maybe all this contributed, however I have significant hair growth. Maybe in 6 months it will reach my shoulders again. Give it a try it worked for me.

I live in a dry climate at a very high altitude. What works for most people does not work in my state. Finding good hair products has always been tricky. This is the first and only product that I have ever found that truly works in this climate. Although I may have to use it more often than people in other states, I am still very impressed with the results. I have always had very thick and long hair, so I was not expecting that my hair would become even more thicker and grow at a much faster pace. I was truly looking for a product to moisturize my hair, and I purchased this item due to good reviews from family and friends. The additional thickness and growth is just an added bonus.

The scent really is not that strong, now maybe if you have a super sensitive nose, then yea… if not, it smells fine. A little goes a long way with these oils. So the value for money is there, in my opinion. Today is day 3 and normally after my was days on day 2 or 3, my scalp is already itchy, and my front hair line starts to scab up. I have a very sensitive scalp, like most of us black women, I had relaxers all my life, until 10yrs ago. I started my natural hair journey. Man it’s been a rough one. I was STILL trying to find an oil that made my scalp feel great and wasn’t too greasy (I mean it’s oil y’all, it’s supposed to be… greasy, duh) or weighed my hair down, or that would irritate my scalp by day 3 of wash day. This oil has done all those and above. My scalp is NOT itchy, my hair does not feel yucky to touch because the oil is in it. And it’s made my natural hair manageable!! I’m excited see what a month of this oil will do. I hope that by 8/21/22 I won’t have a negative review to put on here. Both oils are great! I used the Yellow Bottle in my shampoo and on my wet hair like the box says to do, then the White Bottle on my scalp & throughout my hair, again like the box says…

The reason I say this product is just average is because I haven't seen much improvement in the growth of my hair, but the texture has changed. I used to have EXTREMELY tight coils, and now it's more relaxed, and I have actual curls/ringlets. I jokingly say that this is the type of texture I should've had as a child and maybe my mom wouldn't have had to press it every week. But the growth...its stayed the same as when I didn't use this. I will continue to purchase and use this for the sealing effect on my hair. It looks in the moisture and keeps my hair hydrated much longer than the castor oil I used as a part of the LOC system. I use it every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday night when I style/restyle my hair and as suggested with shampoo as well, but only the 2nd time I lather up so it doesn't prevent cleansing all the product from my hair on the 1st lather.

I am having a bit of dry scalp tried a few oils didn't work, I bought this with not much expectation I used one application of the yellow bottle I am so impressed I can't believe the relief I got my hair has moisture looks great my scalp is not dry at all really amazing product a little smell but wears off.

I bought it because of the good reviews from other buyers, I received my orders earlier than promised, it looks promising, smells good, and might be back for an update on my review.

My hair has grown so fast in just a few weeks. Great stuff. Does exactly what it says.

I have use this products in 2019 to 2020 and it really work in making my hair full and helps my edges. This is my second purchase because my edges where bald start using it two weeks ago already seeing changes to my edges.

So far I am trying to use this product as direct haven't seen much difference yet but will carry on hoping it will make my hair grow as promised on the product
