As most can contest to, this is a favorite amongst vocalists and non-vocalists alike. Been using this stuff since a child and it's a nice alternative to the OTC medicine. It may take a bit of getting used to of the thick texture but that's where the magic is. Can dilute with water and drink as I used to when I was younger but find that it's natural thick consistency coats the throat better and has a longer effect. Either way, you can't go wrong with this natural remedy!

I am an MC for outdoor events, working in various climates, 8-12 hours a day. After an event like the State Fair of Texas - 24 days in a row - my throat is sore and my voice power is greatly reduced. However, it'd be much worse if I didn't have Pei Pa Koa. I use it several times a day to keep my throat soothed and lubricated. Have been using it now for almost 20 years, it's never let me down. I used this when needed for 5 years when I lived in Asia and in the 7 since I have returned. I use it solely for clearing bronchial pathways although I can see/feel that if you like 'cough drops' and sore throat liquids, this works like those as well.What new users should know:1. it is all natural and not a targeted medicine so give it 36 to 48 hours to work.2. don't use more than the recommended dosage, especially if you are new to this product. Your gut won't recognize all the roots and herbs so it may give you 'gas' or affect your bowel movements.3. over the counter cough medicines in the USA calm your cough for 8-ish hours, then you hack up a big fur ball. German cough medicines may just activate your cough response and you cough like a lunatic all day. This product is not a cough suppressant. It gives your lungs the materials they need to create/expel phlegm naturally so you 'clear out' in small doses throughout the day.4. if you are on anti-biotics/have a genuine lung infection this may not be enough. It's not a doctor prescribed medicine. It is however, in my experience the best over the counter supplement of any kind I have ever used for anything.5. it is widely used through out China, there are billboards, signs on the sides of buses, TV commercials, etc.. It's a household name, it's as well known there as NyQuil, Tums, Advil, etc. is known in the USA.
