SRAM Hand-held Hydraulic Line Cutter

I do my own bike maintenance, and I was in need of a new hydraulic brake hose cutter. I had a cheap one and the blade was dull and unchangeable. Bought this on based on other reviews and it works like a champ and is comfortable in my hand. Even comes with a spare blade (xacto type blade)

This does a great job. Cuts are easy and clean, and the thing is wildly over engineered for a home mechanic like me who will probably only use it once a year. I can't imagine it ever wearing out.

I needed to replace older set of hydraulic disc brake cables, purchased this items to make sure I cut proper fist attempt and it works flawlessly! Perfect cut every time! I realized I could shorten cables on my other bike, this made it so much easier to do!

I was about to use a razor blade to cut the hoses on my new M7120 brakes when I remembered that these little devices exist. I ordered and it was delivered the next day. This tool makes cutting hoses a breeze. The cut is perfectly even and clean. It does not crimp or smash the hose whatsoever. Easy to use, durable enough for as many brake procedures you will do during the bike's life, and cheap. Perfect!

Not really great at cutting lines. I'd wager a butter knife may be more accurate. But it depends on who's wielding the butter knife.....

Only used it a couple times, but it worked well. Nice clean cuts and hardly any pressure needed. Looking forward to building many bikes with it.

I love my SRAM drivetrain, but this tool is awful. It literally crumbled in my hand the first time I used it. It is nothing more than an exacto blade in a flimsy plastic shell. Nowhere near sturdy enough to cut a brake hose cleanly.
