I Made the Switch
Original toggle that came with my Epiphone ES335 had issues, so I made the switch to this Switchcraft 3-way Toggle. Took about 30 minutes to remove the old one and replace with the new. Big improvement- this toggle works. Solid feel and no scratching or cutting out.

Best made switch for decades!
Hands down the best made pickup selector switch! No competition. I have unit from the 70s and 80s and they are all still built like tanks. If you need a good switch, spend the money and buy a Switchcraft. All the other will wear out, stop working, or get scratchy within a short amount of time. I highly recommend these for any repairs or upgrades.

Works great on Les Paul type guitars.
Purchased to replace a guitar switch that was making noise. I bought this one because it is made locally to me and I support that. This went on an ESP guitar.

Much better than the factory Squier switch
This fit perfectly in my Squier Mustang. I was worried it might be too tall but I was able to make it work easily.

Not Good if Really Switchcraft
I purchased 2 of these some months ago. Installed one immediately and saved one for as-needed. So, I closely examined the switch, and I echo what most of the low-star reviews said. The solder points are pretty flimsy. The switch makes poor contact, and mine makes my amp pop when I switch it. After someone noted their switch was used, I examined my unused switch with a 5X magnifying lens and discovered two things: 1) every solder lug had the remains of solder on them and were apparently soldered previously in some application; 2) the tiny contact points appeared barely connected to the spring leaves and were connected by no more than a pinpoint of surface area. I could see under most of the contact. This is a very poor switch for any price. The one I installed is mostly poor functioning and unusable. After years of Amazon purchases, I find myself wondering why they let so many second and third rate products be sold. I consider this junk.

Quality Switch Replacement
Perfect replacement for a Gibson LP Studio. The original switch never worked well. After 11 years I used this to replace the old one. This was a perfect replacement and it improved the overall signal and it seems like it gave a sound bump. It would have been great to have a wiring diagram but it was easy enough to figure out. Great product.

Don't waste your money here.
Unusable junk. This switch looks high quality from the picture, which perhaps not curiously shows a flattering 'all metal' angle rather than the completely plastic switching mechanism inside which is less useful and unreliable. It functions similarly to a standard 3-way toggle, except the 'leaf springs' are poorly designed such that their length does not always return the toggle to a center position and can both propel and then 'catch' a return switch into the complete opposite position rather than returning to center. Additionally, the small contact pads did not always make a good connection due to the high spring pressure causing the opposite side leaf to bend slightly off after moving to the opposite position. I wish mine was merely defective, but the physical layout of the switching mechanism makes it look like a poor design with springs too aggressive for a half plastic toggle arm and a poor layout to ensure smooth travel. For $15 I would expect a full length metal toggle with a bushing fitted, rather than this two piece design with the entire bottom of the toggle arm being a plastic knob with enough leftover injection molded flashing to cause concern down the road. It simply doesn't 'lock' in position or feel quality compared to other name brand switches, or even work out of the box reliably. A shame because most other Switchcraft products I've used are decent or better.
