I bought three of the Junie B. Jones books for my granddaughter entering into 1st grade. She is an excellent reader and was excited to move from picture books to 'Miss Jones.' Great buy

i’m not sure why these books are banned. i grew up on Junie B.! She corrects her mistakes in her journal writings. my 5 year old loves for me to read them to her. If anything these books teach kids how to behave. When the teacher or parents tell junie b how she should be acting.. I had the original book but it’s at least 20 years old and became very brittle so i bought this one and now i have the WHOLE series!

This is a very silly and entertaining kid’s book.My daughter have the entire collection and she can’t stop reading the books.

We got this for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. She is a big fan of Junie B. Jones and this is one of her favorites! She's in first grade and I love that she can read this book all by herself. 10/10 recommend as a great way to introduce chapter books to your little ones!

Our daughter loves these books and can easily relate to Junie B and her daily adventures (and mischief) at her age.The mischief and wide range of characters makes the series and makes it so our daughter is engaged in more reading.Unfortunately, for the same reasons these books are definitely not for everyone. These books probably aren't going to give your child a new role model, and they may even pick up some bad habits. Junie B and some of her friends are are sometimes mouthy, show poor values, use bad grammar and spelling (which makes it difficult to read at times).Some of the book titles hint at this; Junie B. Jones and the Stupid Smelly Bus, Junie B. Jones and Some Sneaky Peeky Spying, Junie B. Jones Is a Party Animal, Cheater Pants, etc.The good side of this is that it gives us an opportunity to point out and talk about some of the things they say and do in the books, and suggest better decisions that could have been made.

These are such great books. Gave as a gift. Fun for kids AND grown up...great if you need a laugh!

My granddaughter is collecting these books and she just lost her first tooth so this was perfect. She loved it!
