Product Description Enjoy deep and powerful bass along with good clarity and a spacious presentation, extreme comfort, and the convenience of a single cable and folding headband. The supra-aural design (ear cups rest on your ears) uses ear cups that swivel to fit the shape of your head/ears and a padded, lightweight, adjustable headband that is comfortable for long term wear. The cable is designed without a split, connecting only to the left ear cup, eliminating cable tangle and frustration. Sound leakage is reduced due to the closed back design of the ear cups, so you won't disturb your neighbors like an open backed headphone. You need to get these headphones!
First off, my honest take on people here complaining about these headphones is to get off your high horse. These are NOT high end headphones, and they are Not noise-isolating. They're not meant for mixing or some out of this world listening experience, so stop treating them like they are! What they Are, are freaking inexpensive but worth twice of what they're selling for!The sound, look, and fit from these headphones is better than I expected, and beyond just the label of "introductory" headphones. Possibly the best stocking stuffer with Christmas coming up for anyone who enjoys listening to music, tv or whatever else.Sound: Whoa! Pleasantly surprised. I have various audiophile-worthy category headphones (Shure, a few Sennheisers and Audio-Technicas, V-Moda, even the brand we all love to hate: Beats). So, I want to compare these headphones to the sound of the Sol Republic Tracks HDs; they're like the big brother sound-wise to the MEElectronics HT-21. And don't be afraid to turn up the volume! Granted, I didn't use any EQ or amp with them, but I don't need them for heavy-duty stuff! I wanted some headphones I wouldn't be afraid of breaking or if they got stolen. I picked a winner. TIGHT tight tight kick/bass, and reasonable but clear mids and highs. I'm currently using them with my iPhone 6 (EQ off) and iTunes (various EQ settings).Style: Black. Minimal. Light. Good length for a cord. Angled connector. Boom, that's it.Fit: Here is where I have my only issue. And I'm not taking into consideration if they're noise-isolating or not because I didn't expect them to be. The fake leather on the cups Can get a tinsy tinsy bit annoying because it can get itchy or feel like sweat is accumulating. They are not a snug fit but I'm okay with that because it would just add to the previous annoyances. They however do not hurt to have on and the band is not intrusive. I can see how some people recommend not using them for long-term listening, but I'm going to variate it and recommend you adjust them or move them around different areas of your ears to keep things fresh (maybe put the Left side on the right and vice versa).Really, gather all the spare change you have left around the house, heck, ask your parents, siblings, neighbor, etc. for a few bucks and buy these. If you don't get the HT-21s, I would recommend the Sony MDRZX100 ZX Series Stereo Headphones as a worthy competitor. I went through 3 pairs of those Sony's at the gym over the course of 2-3 years and they're the epitome of a workhorse. The build on the HT-21s are not as good as the Sony ZX100s but dang it, you could probably get two of the HT-21s for the price of just one ZX100s, so it offsets.

FABULOUS for travel
I used to ride the city bus to and from work everyday on a long commute totaling three hours daily. I needed headphones *clearly* so I hunted around and around for some that would suit my purposes. I didn't want to spend $200 on the popular "b" set that are clunky and large, but I also didn't want to use ear buds, which for me don't seem to fit me well and start to hurt my ears within minutes of using them. I looked at CNet before I settled on these. They were rated in the top 5 overall headphones featured in a specific article at CNet and they were hundreds less than all four other sets. I gave them a shot and here's what I love:- ONE cord. You won't choke yourself by accident with this like you do with the dual-cord headphones- easy to see R versus L- incredible sound reproduction - truly I was amazed that these sounded *so good* for such tiny, inexpensive phones- comes with a waterproof baggie with a drawstring for travel- fit well over ears and very comfy padding- adjustable width across the headband works for kids or adults, small or large noggins- drown out surrounding noise surprisingly well for size and price- keep your music in your ears so you're not bombarding your neighbors on the bus or elsewhere with your musical taste- the ear phones FOLD UP into the arc of the headband so they fit in a pocket, no kidding!! Perfect for travel/commuting- appear to be VERY sturdy considering I've used them daily for many months, not always gently, and they've lasted beautifully; looking at mine you cannot tell they are used! These headphones are in the top 10 best purchases I've ever made in my life, I'm happy to say. They're great for anyone for daily use, travel, or even for kids. If I could give them more stars I would.

Fairly Durable; Good Sound Quality for Pricepoint
I bought this as a replacement for a pair of the exact same model of headphones I'd had for probably two years. My boyfriend's headphones broke, so I let him use mine, and he's pretty rough with them - doing inattentive things such as picking up his laptop with the headphones dangling from the jack; standing up with the headphones wrapped around his neck, and them still plugged into the laptop; occasional escapades forgotten, squished deep into the couch cushions. These things suffered about 6 months worth of headphone torture before they finally went kaput. I figured that's pretty good for the pain they went through, so I bought another pair rather than gambling on something different. As they died, so to speak, the sound gradually got worse and worse and was finicky about how deep in the jack I put the cord thingy. It was death by cord exposure. The casing black casing came detached from the protective bit on the end and the wires were showing through and eventually got frayed and torn to hell. As I said, though, this happened over the course of 6 months of abuse after a year and a half of gentle use. Not something that would happen when you take good care of them.Sound quality is good for headphones at this price. (Under $20 at the time of writing this - were $35 when I bought my first pair.) A bit bass-heavy, but I like that personally. They handle surround-sound for gaming pretty well too, in my opinion. They're definitely better than typical gaming laptop speakers. I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a pair of headphones $40 or less.

impressive performance
I'm not an audiophile, but good quality sound is quite important for me. I ordered this headphone set upon recommendation of a knowledgeable friend of mine and must say - I'm really impressed with brilliant performance of this small device (used with Sony portable player). I've tried some other sets, but this one is clearly a keeper with deep, but not exaggerated bass and clear vocals. Light, but not so fragile construction with good and again not too strong pressure, really confortable even after some hours of wear. Highly recommended, especially for the price - in this range you'll hardly find something better.

Great sound, not just for head bangers!
I purchased these for my 'silver surfer' mother. She uses them with her laptop, and finds them excellent. Lovely clear sound, and comfortable to wear. Not too heavy, and nice fit over her ears.
