It fits, it works fine.
It's a gas cap. Not much other than fit could go wrong. I have to trust that the venting works, as I don't have any simple test. I only wish it had been all that I needed to fix the check-engine light diagnostic code. I'm still trying to isolate the culprit for that issue, but at least I have eliminated the possibility the gas cap was at fault.

Good cap.
This cap fits like factory. The only thing is it doesn't have the strap to attach it to the vehicle. It's not a deal breaker and I would buy another one of I have to.

Works on 2001 Mazda B3000
Bought this to replace the inconvenient keylock style fuel cap that my 2001 Mazda B3000 came with. Screwed the replacement cap right in, good seal without any indicator lights coming on. Good value for the cost.

Works great as a replacement. I wish it did the click but you can feel when it's all the way tight.

Lasted 9 months
Tha cap lasten 9 months in my 2002 Lincoln Town Car then My Check Engine light came on with an evap code. A month later a light came on that says Check Gas Cap. I replaced the cap and eventually the lights went off on their own. So im gonna have to say bad quality.

Best of the lot.....
As a fleet owner, having multiple Crown Victoria's over the years, the Gates cap clearly is the winner. Noteworthy, is ease of install, with the elimination of the annoying "plastic bungie" cord that always is in the way and can affect the gas cap seal. Gates remains a tried a true product line, and this is no exception.....
