Worth the few extra dollars - beautiful handmade bells
This is my 2nd set of Beau's Bells. They are well made and very pretty. Their best feature is the sound. They sound like Christmas jingle bells, very pleasant. I bought a less expensive set of bells for my dog after he lost the first set of Beau's Bells, and they did the job (alerted the cats - my dog loves to chase cats), but the sound was awful, more of a clack than a tinkle. No comparison to Beau's Bells. And they are handmade in the USA - who doesn't love that! Spend a little extra and buy these bells rather than the less expensive bells - you won't regret it.

Loud
They're expensive... but worth it, I feel. Puts the near-useless, supplied-with-the-colla-type bells to utter shame. MUCH louder. Also, heavy duty/well built. Expect that they'll outlast my cat(s)! I bought one pair of the mid-size bells, thinking to use one-each, on my two cats; but eventually decided that the the younger, 'mighty hunter' version cat (Nacho) needed a full TWO bells. So... bought a pair of the small bells, this time, for him. Surprised to find that the smaller bells are pretty much as loud as the mid-sized ones. Also, little enough difference in tone (surprising, that) that I've never subconsciously/intuitively learned to differentiate between the cats' jinglings of the bells; even after adding the 2nd mid-sized bell back onto the collar of my larger/older cat. So... after considering the cost of the Rabies shot/tag ($15), the collar ($1@, in six-lot/Amazon), the custom, laser-engraved, epoxy paint-filled name tag ($10@/Amazon), and then the pair of bells ($19 per pair, I think it was, here)... I've got about $45 invested in the outfitted collar; per cat! And, sure enough... after about only a week... Nacho returned one evening... W/O his collar! Arrgghh!! But... fortunately, I found it just where I thought it might have been shed, next door; where my cats commonly like to hang out, when outdoors. I think I loosened the collar too much, when I noticed Nacho scratching at it, in apparent annoyance, after having first put it on him (no previous collar experience. No prob/other cat). I think, while scratching vigorously at the collar (behavior directly observed by me), he likely caught his foot in it, yanked in panic... and popped the safety release of the collar. So... considering the investment... I ordered (Amazon, again; of course) some Samsung (to work with my Samsung phone) Galaxy SmartTag Bluetooth locator tags. So now... each collar has an additional (yet!) $20 invested in it! But... in addition to gaining info on my cats' activities (plus other advantages), I can find the durn thing, if either cat manages to 'lose' one, again. Hopefully. :-) :-) Highly recommend these bells, despite the expense.

Well worth it!!
Got these for my expert bird hunter kitty because I was tired of hearing the blue jays squawking as he took off with one of their family members. Had tried other bells which are cheap tinkles in comparison. THESE bells... loud, but not obnoxiously so. Now my bird hunter is called "Santa Kitty" because we can hear his sleigh bell collar from clear across the yard - and most importantly, so can the birds, squirrels, and other critters he might chase.

Not that loud
I would not say the bells are extra loud. But they are on my dogs collar when we hike in the mountains. She’s a rather fluffy border collie/ healer. Maybe that’s why. But it’s enough noise to allow other animals to hear her coming.

Good quality
Good craftsmanship & loud. Just what’s needed to scare off the birds as my cat roams.

Perfect for a mischievous dog.
I bought these to replace a cluster of smaller bells or Chihuahua mix wears. She likes to sneak off and get into trouble. That includes sneaking into the cat litter boxes for "snacks", going potty in other rooms or our master closet, stealing toys from the other dogs, etc. These bells are about the size of a large acorn and they do indeed ring out or rattle quite easily. I was worried it'd be too heavy and she would learn to walk silently, like she did with some other larger ones we once tried, but she can't seem to stay quiet with these. They are definitely well manufactured, should last a long time, and look nice. All I had to do was turn the ring onto her collar and off she went.

These bells literally is keeping me out of the hospital. They work so well!
I have never owned a cat before. This little guy was left abandoned. I bottle fed every two hours and he thrived. Tge only problem is that he was bringing snakes in the house and snakes creep me out. I have never given up a pet. My dog is now 14. But I was suffering from anxiety. My doctor said that snakes had very good hearing. The other bells didn’t work but these did! No more snakes, thank God!

4 years later and still GOING STRING DURABLE AND LOUD
BEST BELLS EVER I had to find the loudest bells for a tiny 5lb toy poodle rescue that if you called your eyes for a second he was gone. But these bells are amazing . I can hear my little baby if he barely moves . I had these bells for almost 4 years and their a little faded but can be shined up Not bad at all. Durable loud LOUD LOUD . YOU WILL ALWAYS HEAR YOUR LITTLE PET IF THEY BARELY MOVE. THESE BELLS ARE THE BEST

Very loud
Can find both cats around the yard. It’s great to know where they are even if you can’t see them. Let’s birds know they are near by. Unfortunately, birds take risks and can still get caught. Very loud. Older cat had two but lost one . She has had hers for 3.5 years now. Yes costly but in the long run worth it.

Great quality medium size bells
2 x medium size bells with a clear tone which is easy to hear at distance. I used both rings and the zip tie provided as my 16 kilo, low slung hound is through thick bushes at speed and bells are vulnerable to being pulled off. They are very well made and look durable. Its not worth buying cheap bells for a very active working dog. I reckon these Beau's Bells are good value for money as I don't anticipate the need to buy twice which you always will do if you go for cheap options.
