THE UK REGION 2 DVD IS THE UNCUT VERSION NOT THE REGION 1 DVD
It's a shame that Nickelodeon did not release the uncut version in the USA. This is the UK version and the only way to enjoy this flim uncut. Because for some reason Amazon has grouped the US version and the UK versions reviews into one instead of being separate reviews of the region 1 United States version of this DVD and the region 2 UK version of this DVD review. So I just want to let all the fans know this is the complete unedited version 80 minutes run time compared to the heavily edited version that came out in the United States. So make sure you get the UK region 2 version. It is in complete widescreen and uncut as it was broadcast. The UK DVD is the one that should have came out in the states especially with a new box set complete series if they are releasing. Sadly that is not the case for the box set. So I am just very happy to be able to get this DVD.... remember it is Region 2 so just get a cheap region free DVD player to enjoy or a computer program that will let you watch other region DVDs. Again to specify if you want the complete uncut movie make sure you buy the UK DVD the covers are completely different and it says PG at the bottom corners of the DVD. And the artwork is much better on the UK version it shows the turtles from the '80s as well as the 2000s. I hope this helps to get the correct DVD! COWABUNGA!!! GO GREEN MACHINE!!! TRURLE POWER🐢💥

Good crossover; good introduction to the franchise for new fans
We're mostly in the 2003 turtles universe. The 1987 turtles come to them, then they visit the original comic turtles, where it seems Leo narrates out loud. I though that was cute. The tone changes smoothly from universe to universe, and while the turtles look the same across, the artwork is handled such that they seems to fit, they aren't jarring. That was quite impressive.I have heard rumors there will be another crossover movie that includes the Mutant Mayhem and Rise turtles, along with the 2012 turtles. I hope that is the case. This can absolutely stand alone. You need to know nothing going in. For a young fan, this would be a perfect first look at the variety available in the franchise.

A collage worthy of any Turtle fan's movie shelf!
This was movie was hilarious. I saw it during Comic Con of 2009 during the Ninja Turtles Shell-ebration for their 25 year anniversary. I managed to get tickets to the Turtles Forever movie and it was worth running 7 blocks and 4 flights of stairs to get there on time. It was funny, it was witty, it both teased itself as well as gave us fans exactly what we love about the turtles. Homage was paid to the old 80's toon turtles, the more recent 2k3 toon turtles, even the live action movies as well as the original comics were paid respect in this movie. At the time, 4Kids Entertainment still held the rights and so they wanted to end everything with a bang, and they succeeded. They did everything right in this movie. I will admit, that at first, when it first began, my head tilted to the side because I didn't know what to think; but as realization hit and then the brilliance unfolded, I laughed and quickly fell in love with the entire movie. The group of friends I had gone with to the Con stayed up with me till well past 3 in the morning and we were still talking about it.Humor, clever plot, and just honest in your face turtle moments that span the last 25 years, it was brilliant. Absolutely brilliantly done with enough wit to entertain adults, humor for the children, and turtle fans of all ages and eras will embrace and treasure.Spoilers:The Movie is spoof, an Alternate Universe of sorts where the 2k3 toon turtles run into their counterparts from the 80's toon. While they try and figure out how to send them back to their world, they discover that the 2k3 Shredder has returned from his exile and has accidently fallen through the time warp into the 80's toon and quickly takes control - even while the 80's toon Shredder and Krang try valiantly (and fail spectacularly) to become part of his evil plans. 2k3 Shredder realizes to rid himself of the turtles, he has to kill the ORIGINAL turtles in their original universe - and in a fight for survival, the turtles from both universes unite to save both themselves and other worlds. But seriously folks, as dumb as that might sound, it was so brilliantly executed, its well worth it! :D~Melissa the Damgel

This is pretty good
The film is a product of it's time (the 2000's). Basically, it's a plot where the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles of the 2003 series and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from the 1987 cartoon meet. Through some dimensional things and events, the Turtles meet and stop the 2003 Shredder from destroying them.I think the CW DC TV Series and Spider Man: No Way Home took some inspiration from this. TMNT did the multiverse long before Marvel or DC did it.

Turtles Forever! A fun, odd movie
I can’t offer much on if it’s true to the series the main turtles of this movie belong to (waiting on a complete collection)This movie was a blast, it really was. It has a lot of fights, some interesting comedy and turtles meeting turtles. What’s not to love? So, again being unfamiliar to the main turtle’s franchise (the one this movie is focused on) I was a bit surprised and curious about some of the characters or their changed appearances in this. It didn’t stop me from enjoying this movie. But the Shredder of this franchise? Pretty odd, and interesting. So when the modern turtles met the 80’s turtles it was a bit silly, so much so that it felt a little disrespectful at first. But as time grew on, you have to admit the old school turtles cartoon had its silly moments, but I wouldn’t think them incompetent or anything.Same thing happens in the 2012 series, a bit of a jab from those turtles towards the 80’s turtles. From there you get an idea that turtles meeting turtles it’s a dimensional level threat. Something comic book fans are no strangers to seeing. It’s fun to see different versions of the teenage mutant ninja turtles meeting. A lot more fun seeing them team up. If you’re a fan of this, I wouldn’t pass on this movie either.
