NorthCoast KeylessOEM Electronic 4-Button Remote Head Key Fob HA Blade Compatible with Ford Lincoln Mercury (FCC ID: OUCD6000022, P/N: 164-R7040, 164-R7041, 164-R7042)

I bought a car I was looking to get a second key went to a locksmith and they told me $400. Bought a key off of Amazon have a guy cut the key and program it all for a total of $84 out of pocket glad that they serve on Amazon good job he worked acting up recommend it to all my friends thank you.

I originally contacted this company because my new vehicle did not come with a 2nd key fob. On their website you put in the make and model and year of your vehicle and THEY tell you which key/fob you need.Once I did that, I took the key to the Hyundai Dealership to have it programmed. That cost 140.00 plus the price of the key (about 80.00). This was a back up emergency key so we never used it. When I went to pick up the vehicle I was told by the dealership "you're all done", they handed me the paperwork and the new key and I left. When we finally went to use the second key, it would not lock/unlock the doors or provide any function beyond allowing you to turn on the vehicle as long as the fob was literally pressed up against the start button. When we took the car in to have it checked the dealer said "oh this is not a factory key and we could not program it properly> They gave me a copy of the original work order where in TINY letters it say "no lock/unlock function". So I blame the dealership for not letting me know that instead of saying "mr richardson, your car is all ready to go". I went back to NorthCoast Keys and explained the situation. They had me get the actual part number from the dealership for an original key. a week later they contacted me back and said "OH YEAH, THAT IS THE WRONG KEY", AND WE DON'T CARRY THE CORRECT ONE FOR YOU AND WE WONT TAKE THAT ONE BACK SINCE IT IS NOW 5 MONTHS OLD". I emailed them back and reminded them that THEY were the ones who told ME which key I needed. They never responded back. For a "family owned business where we value every customer is their mantra", that is Very poor service. I'm very disappointed because I paid both them and Hyundai Service for parts that were incorrect from the get go.

Ordered a replacement key fob from Northcoast Wireless for 2008 Lincoln MKZ.Arrived and took it to a locksmith with programming tools, who cut the key and plugged his device into the obd port on the Lincoln. VOILA. Success.

I was very concerned with the price because it was sooo cheap compared to the dealer but it ended up being the exact key we needed and the dealer was able to program it with no issues

I purchased this key as a replacement for a lost key. the price for the key was great and delivery was fast.

This product did work good but you can’t turn on the other side and start the car like the old ones but not disappointed

Did not include transponder chip. Had to purchase programmable chip from third party.
