Spectracide Weed Stop for Lawns Concentrate Formula 40 Oz, 4 Pack

This is a good quality product that I've been using for several years. I use this, and I also use pellets a few times a year. Basically this will knock out almost every kind of weed that I have. There is some that it doesn't work on. Also it does take re-application periodically. I normally space it out a couple of weeks between the first one and the second one. You don't really want to put this down when it's super hot outside. You also don't want it to get rained on for a couple days once you put it down. Whatever you do don't let it sit in your sprayer or it will clog your sprayer hose. The other important thing to know is that you definitely want to be wearing pants and long sleeves. Don't use this when it's windy out. If you have an outdoor pond make sure you don't get it anywhere around that. Also keep it away from your bird bath. You don't really want your kids or pets playing on it so at least give it a few days after you use it. It takes about 2 or 3 days for your weeds to start turning kind of a yellowish color which at that point you know you're getting somewhere. Don't expect everything to die forever just because you sprayed it on there one time. Expect to come back and have to do it again from time to time. I find that the most effective way is to try to kill everything in the spring, and then there will be different kinds of weeds that start growing in the summer. Same for the fall. I kind of do this and then I also do some pellets in the spring and fall. If you're dealing with a new lawn then it's a lot easier to control it. If you're dealing with an older lawn with a lot of weeds then pretty much it takes several years to really get everything looking good so you want to stay on top of it. Also, watering the lawn so that your grass doesn't die will help cut down on how much weeds that you end up with. Because anywhere there is a bare spot almost inevitably you will be soon growing some weeds there. It doesn't kill the grass unless you way over apply it or if you don't follow the directions about not doing it in the hot summer. If you spray it before it rains you're just wasting your money. I like buying the concentrate, and I mix it myself in my own sprayer. They do also sell this in a bottle that has its own sprayer, but it's more expensive than buying the concentrate. I think for the money it's a decent value if you understand what you were doing and don't get it all over yourself. I'm giving it five stars. I have never had a bottle that leaked. Make sure you don't get it in your eyes.

this is a game changer...its works well on weeds, bought it twice, and will do it again, weeds are perpetual and everywhere..you have this product to fight back,RECOMMENDED

My only complaint is that I dont believe this treats/kills crabgrass. Otherwise, it works well on broadleaf weeds

have used this stuff for years , Spectracide seems to mess with formula , for now this works better than others tried , you know the brands , weeds are back in a month .. with this they whither up the same day and so far are gone for the summer in Tucson and it's monsoon rains ..it works 👍👍

This stuff is amazing. We love how it kills all the weeds on the grass but does not harm the grass. It works slowly so be patient. I feel it working slowly allows it to kill the weeds at a pace that allows the grass to slowly spread in the area the weeds are dying on and it will not leave large patches of bald soots on your lawn.

A weak formulation. Cheap price.

We have 3 1/2 acres and this stuff is perfect for our lawn! It does work and the weeds show signs of dying the next day. I wait until it's $5.00 or so a bottle and order several. The bug spray is good too

I've used this product for years, if you got weeds use this you won't be sorry.
