First things first, this device didn't come with a remote control which I imagine for a lot of people would make this device a lot handier and more accessible however this is no particular issue for myself.I actually think this heater is pretty nifty for what it is. To be blunt, it's not very powerful and if you're expecting this little device to heat an entire room then you'll be very disappointing.However that being said this heater is perfect for what I want to use it for and that's simply just to take the edge off a chill either in a room or my garage. The heater itself is very compact, clean and looks the part. There's no wires and the unit itself looks rather modern.The actual interface is quite easy to use and doesn't really require much fiddling around with it to get it to work. It's got an in built timer if you're after pre warming an area and overall i can't complain.Placement is important with this device if you're actually after warming a room. However, if like me you want it just to take the chill off and use it in conjunction with other devises it'll work just fine.

I bought this, but it doesn't seem to be the same as the picture. Mine is a black round one with an LED temp display and rotatable (to keep out of way of other plugs). Will give a review anyway because feedback may be useful for others.It is generally fine however three niggles: 1 - didn't have a UK plug. Has a 2-pin plug and adapter. This makes it stick out from the wall more. 2 - it doesn't have a thermostatic feedback - so if you set it to 19deg it seems to set the power and that's it. It doesn't slow down or stop if it gets hotter than that. It does use less power when you turn the temp down so that setting is doing something. 3 - the remote control is very short range. Like 1m. And ANY obstruction (even a blanket) blocks the signal.(I use it under my desk which is covered with a blanket to keep me toasty while working)

I received this today, service was great however I was disappointed to find that there was no battery in the remote control and it takes a special kind of battery, namely a lithium button battery CR2032. Fortunately I had some at home from some toys, but these aren’t the sort of batteries that you would normally have lying around. The heater gets very hot almost immediately and I have the feeling this is quite a dangerous item. You shouldn’t leave it unattended or not be in the room with it while it is on. I also wouldn’t trust it overnight if I was sleeping in the same room. It does have a useful Feature in which you can swivel the heater 180° depending on your plug socket, but you mustn’t let anything get within 90 cm of it which is a bit restrictive. The heat doesn’t seem to come out too far although I’ve had it on for about 30 minutes now and my kitchen which is about 3 m x 3 m is definitely a little bit warmer. So all in all I am happy, but with reservations.

You will see various photos of the heater on Amazon and then get one that does not look like any of them.Mine is quite large round black item , not very quiet or powerful. Also it has a two pin plug power supply with a three pin UK converter supplied but with this fitted the unit sticks out a long way from the socket ( knock off risk ? ) .Would advise making sure you are getting what you think are.

The product has arrived without the remote control. Package seems to be old so probably returned previously and sent out again without being checked. I would like some form of credit for this error.

I like the idea of being able to plug the heater in with no trailing wires. I have not used it other than testing it but the controls are easy to use, the timer and temperature are easy to set. All in all exactly the the same as the one I nearly paid twice as much for. Delivery was very quick.

Perfect for what I needed. Just right for taking the chill off a room quickly. Feels a little flimsy. Wouldn't want to use it somewhere it was going to be knocked

Its a good little heater, if you are within 3 feet of it and your room is only 6ft x 6ft. I have used it as an additional heat source in a room with an electric radiator, hoping it would make the room warm, between them they didn't warm the room, they took the chill off it.If you are directly in the heat stream I am sure they work ok.
