Fantastic quality! Heavy materia...will keep you warm. I am 6 foot three and weigh 260 lbs and it just barely touches the ground. Wow! A friend of mine who is in the Benedictine order will be so jealous. Worthwhile purchase...no regrets!

I bought this for a Renn Faire and had a number of people commenting on it. It is very warm. I actually got asked to impersonate "St. Francis" for St Francis Day at two local churches.

Better made and heavier than I thought it would be. It is great for summer heat and I didn’t need anything extra when it dropped into the 50’s Fahrenheit at night.The only real issues I have with it is the hook closure for the neck and the belt. The neck hole is a little tighter than I like and the “belt” straight up sucks.

Last Halloween I bought one of the cheap $20 monk costumes as a last minute costume for a party. The thing looked like a burlap sack but was not nearly as strong and starting to shred by the end of the night. A few years later, I'd thought I'd revisit the monk costume and saw this.A nice thick quality robe with hood that really looks nice and authentic. Good weight and quality to the fabric. Only 2 downsides: one, it just comes with a little brown strip of fabric to cinch it with a the waist, you're probably going to want to go out a buy a thick piece of rope for a good looking belt. Two, it is a big big big outfit. I am a chubby guy - 6'1" and 240 lbs - and it is plenty roomy and practically drags on the floor and I have to roll up the sleeves by almost a foot to get my hands out. So if you on the shorter side, you may need to get the length altered to avoid dragging it everywhere.But overall this is a good quality robe in and of itself, that is worth the money.

Let us cut to the chase. I am 6'2", 312lb, and I have broader shoulders than most. This thing fits *perfectly*!This is manufactured by Windlass out of India and they used to make a 2XL version. If you are worried that this will not fit you and that you need to track down one of the impossible-to-find 2XL's, fret not.Standing straight, the hem is about 1"-1.5" off the ground. With footwear on, it just barely touches the top of my boot as I walk. The shoulders are wide and generous. The sleeves are cut perfectly and even a little long (a good thing) allowing you to cross and hide your hands as shown in the image. There is more than ample room in the torso "for even the most devout". The hood sits nicely, exactly as shown in the image, and rounds out the look.Add a Belt & a cross, and you are good to go!If you are shorter than 6', expect to have to hem this a bit, unless you want it dragging on the ground.

Very good quality and durable robe…I could almost see monks wearing something like this.About the only issue I had was it is large, you could almost cut it in half and make a second robe. I’m 6.2., and it came right at the good leg and arm lengths - but was almost comically wide, making it difficult to bunch up with out looking like the Michelin Man.Still a good product, don’t regret my purchase and as it held up after a wash - would recommend.

I was really disappointed when I finally saw what I had ordered. It was lightweight super thin fabric and extremely oversized. My dad is 5’9 I am 5’7 I ordered two. For the price I expected high quality and I didn’t get what I had wanted. The other peoples photos of what they received don’t look like what I received I don’t know why. I’ll upload some photos next time I’m home.
