Does exactly what its advertised to do
This will shred a block of cheese ( small enough to fit into the R2N Robot Coupe feed hopper) in about 15 seconds. That saves a lot of time using a hand grater. I haven't tried it on vegetables yet, but I'm sure it will work equally well on them. Like the rest of the Robot Coupe blades, this is pricey -- but that seems to be typical for all commercial kitchen equipment. I've notice that a little digging around on Amazon and elsewhere (using 'Robot Coupe' plus the part number for the blade as the search string) will turn up a variation in pricing I'm anticipating this blade will last longer than I will.
