I would say that the guitar has exceeded all expectations and though the little 10W amp looks a little like a toy don’t be put off; it really packs a punch; such an array of tones from light fingerpicking to rock/blues, it really does have it all. If, like myself, you play in the bedroom or with a couple of friends, it is ideal. If you want to play in public then I guess, you’d want something bigger. I haven’t been put off by the Squier label although I’m a purist at heart, I just didn’t think for my type of playing and my age (I’m 53) that I needed to spend a whole heap more on a labelled Fender.
