Protect your investment and keep your thumbs comfy!
I put these on just about all of my controllers! They're cheap, offer a nice, grippy surface for my thumbs, and they protect the actual sticks from wearing down and/or getting gummy as they often times do.The only real fault I have with these is that they really don't fit on Xbox One controllers, because the sticks on that controller are so tiny. I ended up buying a smaller, Xbox One specific set of stick caps for that controller, and then ended up sticking these caps over those because I prefer the feel of a larger joystick surface, and in the end I got exactly what I wanted. They also work fine on PS4 controllers, though just be warned that they are not as tight as on the PS3 and Xbox 360 controllers and you may have to get used to not slamming quite as hard in Bloodborne and Dark Souls for those jump attacks. I would still much rather play with them than not.I have ordered these multiple times and have them on multiple generations of console controllers from my modded Dreamcast controllers to the Xbox One controller that I use on my gaming PC. Overall they're a great, cheap way of protecting your investment while also providing a sense of familiarity across all platforms once you grow accustomed to them, so there's less of a jarring difference when you switch controllers, and with the exception of the original Dreamcast (and the semi-exception of the Xbox One), they fit pretty much any console controller from the 6th gen onward without any modification, and probably a lot of mobile and PC controllers too (I do not have a Steam controller to test them on though).

17" tire on a 14" rim
Don't buy these expecting to refurbish old controllers. I think the only way these would work is if your original silicone grips are still intact. Then you would have to apply these "replacements" over the top of the originals. I bought these for wireless 360 controllers and they didn't even come close to a proper fit. It was like trying to put a 17" tire on a 14" rim. They slipped off as easily as they slipped on. These most definitely are not replacements.

Lots of grip, but slightly loose on PS4 Controller
These were purchased to cover the ripped rubber pads on my Playstation 4 controller. They come in a sealable bag that is convenient for storing the extra ones. They slide on to the analog stick with a little effort, but stay fairly well once they are on. These covers provide excellent grip for your thumbs and are much better than the factory covers. The only downside is that these covers don't fit extremely tightly to the analog stick. They can slide around slightly when you are just holding the controller. This goes away once you provide pressure (increasing the friction between the cover and the analog stick). However, this does lower them to 4 stars.Overall, I would recommend these to anyone that needs to replace worn factory covers, or if anyone wants to have a more "textured" feeling to their controllers. The latter is the reason my girlfriend likes them.Definitely worth the purchase.

A better grip but more importantly a fix
I bought this item to replace the rubber on the thumb sticks that were wearing down.I've been a gamer since the NES days. Back in those times with the plastic d-pad you didn't have to worry about this issue and with the N64 with the plastic analog (a memory of Mario party blister fest on the palm) you didn't need to worry about this but now as controllers include thumb sticks/analog that have a rubber outer layer for comfort and grip, they get worn rather fast. You start to see the plastic bottom layer, the rubber starts to flip over and the grip turns into a smooth round slippery thing. This is a quick fix for this issue, you just place it over the thumb stick and boom, a new grippy analog without the look of a worn down and sad overly used controller. It takes about a week to get used to as this adds some height and girth and the grips feel really different due to the protruding grip pieces but it's nicer then getting a new controller and I have no sliding finger issue. No clearance issues either. It's not quite as soft as the original rubber which feels more like silicone. This feels like a mixture of plastic and rubber but feels it will last a long time
