A Reliable Companion for Planner Enthusiasts
I recently purchased the Bira Adjustable 6-Hole Punch, and while I encountered a bit of a hiccup with the initial delivery - it arrived broken - the customer service team was incredibly helpful and arranged for a swift exchange. The replacement arrived promptly and in perfect condition. Now, onto the punch itself. I must say, it exceeded my expectations. As someone who loves to customize pages for my planner, this tool has been a game-changer. The adjustable hole design makes it easy to create various types of pages, including pocket minis, agenda pages, and planner inserts. Measuring at 7 1/4โ X 2 3/4โ X 1 7/8โ, the punch is a decent size and fits well on my desk without taking up too much space. Iโve found it to be incredibly versatile, as it works well with different types of paper, allowing me to get creative with my planner layouts. One thing worth noting is that the productโs color may vary slightly from the photo image, but this wasnโt a significant issue for me. Overall, Iโm really happy with my purchase. Despite the initial setback, the Bira Adjustable 6-Hole Punch has proven to be a reliable and effective tool for hole punching my cash envelopes and customizing my planner pages. Itโs definitely worth considering if youโre in need of a versatile hole punch for your planner or other paper projects.

Works great, super sturdy, and small enough to stash away
Yes yes yes!! I love this so much for my binder. Super easy to use and even punches through laminated paper. Comes with a manual and all the adjustments you need. Alignment isnโt accurate for my binder personally but it could just be that my paper isnโt true to size lol.

Great hole puncher
This thing is pretty good. I've been about to cut through my pencil boards and I love that I could change the spacing of the holes. Edit: I've used it to punch holes into my Travelers notebook pencil board and it's strong enough to do that. Huge fan.

Great, but needed some MacGyvering.
This hole punch is easy to configure for my Filofax since the punches move in 2 carriages of three. It seems solid and punches through cardboard or 10 pages cleanly. All is great; EXCEPT the holes get punched too far into the paper for my A5 filofax. The standard holes on the Filofax are centered 7mm from the edge of the paper. This product punches the holes with a center 10mm from the edge. It doesn't sound like much difference, but that extra 0.1" makes turning the pages harder for my Filofax with 15mm binder rings. The extra paper margins interfere with other pages inside the binder rings. Too little distance from the edge would be a non-starter, but too much space can be corrected. It just takes a little MacGyvering. The problem was that the paper can push too deeply into the hole punch carriages. So I wanted something to push into the carriages to keep the paper from going too deep. I found that two small toothpicks from the Victorinox Classic SD Swiss army knives fit perfectly. They push into the sides of each punch carriage and reduce the depth that the paper can be inserted to be punched. They fit snugly and almost look like they were made for this purpose. Now, I can't tell the difference between the original Filofax paper and the paper that I've punched.

Worth the price, easy to set and use.
It's nice and compact and easy to set, punches index cards well. The setting of the hole spacing is not super secure, they tended to move slightly as the waste bin in the bottom gets full, som sometimes the alignment is a bit off. If you empty it frequently that shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise, it does what it's supposed to and it has a metal body so it feels fairly durable. Worth the price.

Feels sturdy, works great!
Some information that I found useful but not listed on the description (at least I didn't see): - It punches 5mm (or 6mm?) holes. If you wish to have 4mm holes, look at their 3 hole puncher. - It does work for Mini 5 size. I purchased a Raymay Fuji one from JetPen before. The Raymay one feels like, and indeed is, a piece of plastic. It only works on 2 sheets of paper, and the cut is not very clean. This one is different. It feels very sturdy and leaves very clear hole cuts. It says the capacity is 8 sheets, but... depending on your paper weight, you can, probably, do 10 - 12 at once. The Raymay Fuji one claims 2 sheets, and it means 2 regular weight sheets. You can't even do a slightly thicker card board. This one can, and this one can handle some relatively soft plastic as well (for example, your hobonich pencil board). I tried to use it to punch holes on a very very very sturdy plastic board, it failed, but it didn't broken either. Seems like it has protection mechanism - I can force to push the handle down, but it go through the plastic board. I mean... it's great! I shouldn't have used such material, and it didn't break even though I tried. That's great.

Just arrived, but tests well and I love the features
I love that this locks and how the rule slides out; It's very compact and I can even fit it in my desks shallow pencil drawer, which was unexpected. I do wish the rule itself was metal, the plastic will certainly be the first part to break, shortening the lifespan of it. The color is more orange than the pictures looked. I thought it was more of a salmon color. The bottom drawer is actually made of flexible plastic, not really a drawer, which doesn't bother me, just never seen that before. Also, the mark to set the holes isn't super clear, but you know because you can feel it snap into place. Also FYI you have to look on both sides to adjust the holes themselves and the ruler/paper stopper on the back, they don't adjust simultaneously.

It's a great buy
This has the setting for the personal size and I love it! Use it to hole punch money envelopes and make dashboards for filofax personal size (the wallet). It locks so that you can store it, or keep it out and not worry about little hands trying it out on more important papers. The punching parts slide to the size you need, just turn it upside down and select the size you need on both ends. The orange paper guide Is helpful as it keeps small pieces from sliding. I've used cardstock and it cuts through just fine. 12/25/20 Edit: ive had this for almost a year now, and I'm just so amazed by how well it works. This is such a great product. My mom got an a5 today and the first thing she asked was, "how well does that hole punch you have work?" I showed her how to set it up and she's the happiest with it. Great even after all this time and its still making great lasting impressions ๐

Punches holes and looks good at the same time
It was hard to find an A5 punch for my filofax that wasn't either an ugly colour or just not sturdy enough (8 pages isn't tonnes but it's better than one at a time!!). This works really well, the lock makes it not too huge and it looks good. Be warned that the holes are a little closer to the edges than on the pre-punched sheets I've got in the same organiser, but I prefer that as it means there's more paper to write on. It took a little while to come (I can't remember if it was more or less than anticipated, just that I didn't get it straight away), but that wasn't a problem as I'd had it sent to the wrong address and because it wasn't super fast there was enough time for me get it changed before it became a problem. It's even cheaper now than when I got it (and the black is cheaper than the white, but I was happy to pay extra to get the white). I'll definitely buy from Bira Craft again.

Good
I bought this after seeing it recommended by other Filofax users as a good fit for the Personal size. Overall, it works, but there are a few limitations. Because the paper I cut to Personal (A6) size is almost the same length as the punch itself, alignment can be tricky. Even with the guide, I sometimes end up with slightly uneven holes. I mainly use it to punch letters and notes for my planner, which it handles fine for smaller batches. While itโs advertised as having an 8-sheet capacity, I find it quite difficult to punch more than 5 sheets at once without applying significant force. Itโs still usable for light, occasional use, but could be improved in terms of alignment and ease of punching thicker stacks.

Itโs the right product
So I was hesitated to get this cuz the video showed Sunlit instead of Bira on the product. But I emailed bira craft and they said Sunlit is for the European market and Bira for the American market. they sent sunlit to the North American customers only if they are short on the Bira ones. So yeah, the hole puncher work as expected.
