Not as light weight as some other panels but for me thats not as issue because its not going to blow over in strong winds. The controller is substantial and well made unlike some of the cheaper ones out there .The readings are comprehensive with a full range of selectable setting which are easy to alter to your own liking. And all the cables provided are long enough for all my needs. I only tested it on a cloudy and rainy day but the output was still decent so on sunny days it will perform really well. At first I thought the low price would mean a low quality inferior product how wrong was I. Review: Good purchase. - Works very well even in the shade. The cable could be longer, but that is only a minor compliant. It doesn't say.** A: I really can't answer that but the conversion table on line says 100 watt equates to 8.333 amps /12 volt. We use it on our caravan and it keeps the charge up on the battery we are pleased with it and think it is value for money. Hope this helps **Q: it says it is waterproof - has anyone used this product in the rain without any problems ? what happens if the controller gets wet ?** A: Haven’t used in wet weather, but controller is fixed to the back, which set out, would not really get wet. U could cover over controller lightly??. On the solar a really good buy, everything u need to charge your batteries up. **Q: If I install a longer cable from the controller will it affect the warranty? How is the cable fixed and what cable is required?** A: The cable is attached via two screw terminals.
