I needed a cordless drill and reciprocating saw. All of these tools feel well made and durable. I've used the drills and the light thus far. I'm not thrilled with the 2mA batteries but they'll be used for the light. The extra charger is handy.

I originally purchased these tools to use on some side projects that would have cost me 3x the amount spent to have someone else do them. I was amazed at the performance. I built an entire fence, used 1/4 of one battery. The drill is powerful enough that when I would hit dense wood, instead of binding up, it’s powerful enough to snap the heads off of the bits. The reciprocating saw has chewed through everything I have put it up against, including a tree with a 6 inch trunk. The flashlight is nice and bright. I haven’t had a chance to play with the impact yet, but I have no doubt it will exceed my expectations as well. Highly recommended.

These are good for a DYI home owner. I would suggest looking for the tools upgraded to brushless motors for anything greater than the occasional project. The set I purchased here is a good budget minded set of tools to keep around the house ,however inadequate for sustained daily usage. Overall very good.

For the price ($124) the tools are a real value. They have performed admirably for household tasks. The drill and drivers have decent power and have good battery life. I even get to use the torch light when I take my daughter to the parks in the evening. The magnets on the torch come in handy for mounting. But the caveat is that they are older models and are NOT BRUSHLESS. SKIL website tells that All powercore20 tools are brushless. Thats not true. The 2018 models (the ones in this set) are brushed. The brushless sets are significantly more powerfull. For example, the driver in this set has a torque of 1100 lbin. whereas the brushless ones have 1800 lbin. But for DIY household work I think this set should suffice. [Update 12/2024] updated to 5 stars for customer service. The drill that came with the package went bad after using for 4.5 years. So I contacted customer service since it was within the 5 year warranty. SKIL was very helpful and sent me a new replacement drill after seeing the failed drill on video. The whole process was very smooth and it's reassuring to know they stand behind their 5 year warranty.

Thus far I have only used the sawzall, but if this is a preview to what is to come with the rest I am definitely impressed. I cut down some small trees that I didn't want. The power was flawless. It cut through the limbs like a hot knife through butter. The battery lasted very well. I was able to use it for two trees, and quite a few bushes. It is still early, but I am not disappointed.

These are great tools. Skil has really brought their A game. I will choose these over Ryobi any day on a consumer/Prosumer level. All the tools have performed very well considering their price point. The only thing I wish was a little better was the drill. It has just enough torque to turn ship auger bits. It seems to do 1/2" ok as long as the battery is fully charged. It struggles with anything bigger. In it's defense it is a small drill. I would say the hammer drill would do better.

Bought this set for my husband for his birthday. He really likes how fast the battery charges and the power for the price is really good. Overall pretty good tools for such a low price

The drill chuck loosens while working. The recip saw is a bit too wobbly. They get a job done but you wont look cool doing it.

Dicho lo anterior, las herramientas son muy buena, trabajan de maravilla, les dura un buen la pila, la lámpara es la única que parece de relleno, mejor hubieran puesto otra lo pila o un cargador extra para el carro o algo. la sierra sable es una chulada y los rotatorias también. Ciertamente induce al error sobre ser brushless. Lástima porque son buenas herramientas pero deja un sabor amargo sentirse engañado

These are as good as the Milwaukee and DeWalt tools I have. Great value!!

Básicamente lo compre por la sierra sable, sin embargo en destornillador de impacto trabaja muy bien aunque a veces se le atoran un poco las puntas y cuesta trabajo sacarlas, el taladro es básico pero tiene buena potencia, al final quede muy complacido precio-calidad.

These tools are horrible!! Only bought a couple of months ago and the drill head just cracked right off the drill. Very cheap quality. Better off paying the extra money so you don’t waste any money on these.
