I finally got a chance to use the set of hot combs ,they are nothing like what I have used in the past .bthe small comb seems to be helpful when straightening or touching up edges the larger comb It was pulling out my hair . I have always used a comb with even teeth. After using the larger hot comb again. I will give it a higher rating blow drying the hair makes a difference.

My nieces both have very coarse hair and the usual style combs just wouldn't straighten their hair . I purchase these combs because they resembled hot combs my Mom hand in my childhood and they were very good. I was pleased with both combs, and recommended it to a friend. i recommend this for anyone with extra curly, or coarse hair.

The hot comb gets through my thick hair. It always get hot before 2 min & very valuable.

Ordered these pressing combs to replace the Kentucky Maid pressing combs I've had for several years. I've used this product for years and I can tell you this IS NOT the product it used/should be. The product is much lighter, so not the same metal used and it pulls the hair & I can't use them at all. I REALLY hate this is what Kentucky Maid is after decades of quality products...

I bought these because they said made in Kentucky on the product page. But they arrived with 'Made in China' stickers on them!! Thanks for lying to me... trying my best not to buy anything from China. The product is fine, but the advertisement is false.

The small comb with the even teeth is smooth on the hair. I Love it!! The other comb with the uneven teeth is heavy and I’ve never used it and probably never will Because the other one is works very very well.
