MOCA Timing Belt Water Pump Kit Compatible with 2001-2005 for Honda Civic 1.7L

Love this kit was worth every penny so far

It fit with no issues, very good OEM part.

After less than 500 miles on new tensioner and spring. The spring failed while driving. The spring, broke, causing the tensioner to loosen. The spring then fell onto the timing belt, carving a huge gouge all the way around the belt. I was lucky though, the belt did not break (did NOT use belt that came in kit). Since the D17A1 engine is an interference engine, the belt breaking would have destroyed the entire engine. All of that because of a cheaply made spring. And lucky, I was only a few blocks away from home when it happened. Please refrain from buying this. If it happened to me, it will happen to you. And you may not be so lucky. A damaged engine from belt failure due to spring breaking would cost thousands to replace.

Perfect fit for 2005 Honda Civic with 112,000 miles. Not an easy part to replace.

I put these parts on my 2001 civic and it’s running really good everything working great so far .

Hello. Water pump is defective. AFTER INSTALATION COOLANT WAS COMING OUT OF THE VENT HOLE OF THE PUMP`S CASING AS SHOWN ON THE PICTURES. ALSO, IF YOU LISTEN CLOSELY TO THE VIDEO YOU CAN HERE SCREECHING SOUND DURING THE ROTATION. I would like to get a partial refund (50%) if possible. I had to get actual Honda water pump to complete this repair as customer was getting upset. Thank you.
