they're called mechanics time savers for a reason
i bought two of these so i could have one for my standard and metric sets, and keep them hanging vertically on the underside of my tool cart's lid. they stay in place and hold sockets in any direction, and it doesn't slide around at all. it can hold a 15mm socket as well with a snug fit.these two holders are so great i ended up buying the bit and combo wrench holders too

Holds the sockets and is very portable
I like these. The magnet holds well and is adaptable for any 1/4 socket combinations. I have the red one for SAE and this for Metric.
