Koss KPH7V Portable On-Ear Headphone with Adjustable Headband - Violet

Koss is a great brand and these worked great for me. I think probably not for kids as they would break too easily, but for me at a desk to handle phone calls while I work remotely from home, they work just fine. Lightweight, adjustable, plug in and great cord length. I got these in a fun purple to match my desk decor. The sound quality is great and no static or buzz, but just a clear quality of sound.

When you utmost seek to right the right kind headphones for your music player or smartphone, it is simply much easier said than done. Personally, more headphones ere forced to add more gimmicks, which included a microphone, for talking on smartphones or adding too much souped up bass. In any regards, finding the simplest earphones/headphones has gotten to be a bigger problem with time. Thankfully, when I discovered these headphones from Koss back in 2017, I became quickly smitten. The Koss KPH7V headphones are lightweight & easy to place on your ears, & listening to music absolutely sounds great. They remind me of what the d brand Aiwa had back in the 90's & 2000's with their Portable CD Players & their headphones which were great & handled very well without those extra doodads that clutter your music experience on the go. My one biggest gripe is that when you charge your smartphone or music player, you have o take out the headphones, because if you don't while the phone charges p, your headphone speakers will not work right & on of the sides will no longer operate. Still, I absolutely recommend these headphones from Koss. They're cheap, practical & they work great for anyone that still owns a Ipod or a cassette player. Give these headphones a shot. Have now purchased 2 for my grands ages 4 and 7 to use with our phones during boring wait times- great for kids! They have decent sound for the money, especially for YouTube videos and endless demon hunter songfests LOL!! They are lightweight and the foam works so well on their ears. We tried earbuds but they will not stay in place in little ears. Also, these are lightweight enough I can carry them in my purse without a lot of added weight.

I am amending my review. Below is my original review. I'm adding that now, the foamy pads come off waaaaay too easily. I'm sure they are not gonna last long. For now, they'll do. Even though you occasionally get some really good deals on Amazon, I guess this is one of those times when "you get what you pay for" I got these because they were purple. Yeah, just love the color. Was very happy to see that the plug is a right angle, as opposed to straight, as I think it will be less likely to be damaged with normal wear and tear (the reason I'm replacing old headset). I will mention that the ear pads are not as "soft" as I'd like, but, I'm hoping that they are more durable (yeah, these didn't cost much, but, a gal can hope!) After using them for a couple of days, I really don't notice the texture of the earpad, so, overall, I'm quite pleased with my purchase. I did also get the warranty, just in case they do crap out early, but, I will update this review if I have anything further to report. So far, so good!

We bought two of these headphones and a splitter for our granddaughters to use while listening to a portable CD player. We wanted to get them off their tablets and listen to some good books during their holiday travels. They have excellent sound and are nice and light on the ears (no clamping feeling like your heads in a vice or something.) Really good sound. Would buy again.

May 2026 The spong on the ear piece tend to be poor quality and fell off after awhile. Everything else and the sound quality is pretty good.

These headphones help my children a lot in their classes. They have a good sound and I found them in several colors

I liked the headphones were light weight, not to tight on the head, adjustable, comfortable to wear when sleeping. However did find the foam ears did come off easily. To help that I did put four dots of glue to hold the foam ear places in place. I do use them at night to listen to white noise with my smart phone to counteract ringing in the ears due tinnitus. diagnosis and moderate hearing loss. Just make sure phone has a earphone jack, before you buy them.
