Great and Unique Flavor
I bought this for a chicken recipe. I had used preserved lemons before, but this harissa version is amazing! I added some additional spices, and the chicken turned out juicy and flavorful. I even used it on our turkey this past Thanksgiving, and everyone raved about the unique flavor…even the picky eaters!

Kind of expensive, spicy but flavorful
I add this to items like felafel in my salad to give them more flavor. It's a little spicy, but works great to add some zip to an otherwise bland addition to the salad.

Worth it, instead of making it from scratch.
The flavor was spot on, a little on the saucy side, wouldn't have minded a bit thicker. Would have preferred chunkier bits of lemon. Took a little longer than expected (2 weeks, instead of 1) to infuse my Moroccan olives. Next time, I will get the regular flavor and add my own preserved lemons. All in all, quite worth it.

Harrisa and preserved Lemon
the reason why this product got only 1 star is because it is supposed to be HARRISA WITH PRESERVED LEMON and so the label reads and color of content should be RED and when it arrived (twice) it came as only PRESERVED LEMON very disturbing and am very much disappointed though the preserved lemon is a great product too by itself and so it is written on the label BUT it does NOT arrive as a HARRISA + RESERVED LEMON

Not very spicy but very flavorful
The mild spice on the harissa is perfect even for the ones that normally cannot tolerate spicy heat. The lemon comes through but not as bright as expected. A squeeze of a small lemon wedge was all that was needed to bring that lemon forward and share the spotlight. Well worth the purchase and will definitely keep as a pantry staple.
