Better than most!
I had this for 2 weeks now and it works great. Just pair the tracker with the prazza golf ball (turn on the tracker by pressing the large button, bounce the ball on a hard surface to activate the ball, then press the large button again once and place the ball approximately 3 inches away from the tracker, in just a few seconds you should hear a beep or feel a vibration, otherwise the battery in the ball is dead) and away you go. Remember to turn off the tracker after pairing with said prazza golf ball and after locating the prazza golf ball to save battery power. It is a lot easier to locate the ball. It's better than most. Don't waste your money on the other golf ball locator.I would suggest buying additional prazza golf balls cause you might hit the ball in the lake, somewhere you can't reach, or worst the battery inside the ball is dead. Also now it has a mute button if you don't want the sound!

Company selling off old stock. No support. Units don't work properly.
Has great potential. Opened the box, read the less than adequate instructions, and paired my ball. Hid it in the house, and my husband found it with the handset. Great! Took it to the course and couldn't get the ball to pair with the handset again. I tried 50 times. Everyone else tried. Wouldn't work. Took it home and kept trying. No luck.Sent it back and got a new one. Only I could tell it wasn't really a new one. The protective wrap wasn't on the handset. It was on the top of the box. Obviously someone had sent this one back too.Tried it out. Just like the first one, worked great the first time then would never pair with a ball again. Very frustrating. Looked up company on internet. They have been redesigning their website for two or more years. No way to get a hold of them. No support. Can't buy more balls if you hit into someone's back yard or the water. I really wanted it to work. Had to send it back.Ps: really cheap charging unit. Cord only 6 inches long.

too loud, no customer support
There is great potential in the concept. Its not the price of the golf ball(s) that are lost in a typical game that is important: its about the feedback on your shot--finding out how well you hit that shot from your 5 iron hybrid; you know you hit it well over 150 yards on your second shot from the Tee box and the ball landed just on the edge of the fairway but rolled a little. And you can't find your ball. There are leaves; there are a couple small bushes and a tree; and no ball. The Prazza works as advertised, but its not user friendly. It beeps loudly but there is no volume control. It should be a more discreet unit. instead, its loud. It would absolutely drive your playing buddies crazy if they had to listen to it. I use mine in solo practice games. A "smarter" second generation unit would be better--one that you can "turn on" and pair to a Prazza golf ball, and then play the entire round. It seems like the unit "forgets" the ball you just paired on the very next hole. But, then again, maybe I have not mastered this one dimensional unit very well, but there certainly is no customer support to help nor any instruction manual that actually uses words instead of little stick figure drawings that are just meant to get you started. What is needed is trouble-shooting guide, at least.
