American Crew Men Pomade For Hold & Shine 85g/3oz

Kind of pricey but I do like the product. It keeps my hair in place without making it stiff or sticky and also imparts a bit of a wet look to my dark hairs which helps against the grey hairs I have. It has a very slight smell but it is a pleasant one and once you apply it, the fragrance is gone.

If you're looking to tame your hair, and want to add some shine/luster to your hair this is for you! A little goes a long ways, and it lasts all day. This product has a very mild pleasant fragrance, and washes out easily.

I'm giving the product 5 stars, but not the 'new" version. There is a version for medium hold called OLD version. Old version is in the name to order. THAT is what you want. The "new" version is crazy lame. I have used this for over a decade and for some reason, got shipped this "new" version even though I was doing "buy again". The new version is like yogurt while the old version you know right off the bat it's going to work.

I'm no oil painting but man when I smear this stuff on I feel hotter than Fabio! Well, delusions aside, this stuff is nice. A small smear in the palm, a bit of water added or straight to damp hair (mine is fairly long and touselled -- not due to style..... I'm just a slob) and run it through, give the head a brush or comb and this sets softly but firmly. Keeps long fringes out of the eyes when handling dangerous tools and the sides pulled back a bit like Kurt Russell. There I go again! But yep if you have low self esteem and don't enjoy looking at your head much this stuff is way better than going without. Smells really nice. Goes a long long way too. Makes even the most average man feel a bit sophisticated.
