TravelproPlatinum Elite Carry-on Spinner Tote Bag with USB Port, Shadow Black, 16-Inch

The quality, the color, the space, the extra pockets, the wheels and how smooth is glides around is really amazing and well worth the money for me. I receive compliments all the time about my luggage. Just the convenience and not having to carry a heavy backpack or bag alone is a huge plus for me. I’ve traveled spirit, sun country and Delta and it fits perfectly under the seat with no issues.

Saw this bag at the airport a few weeks ago, and were very impressed with the quality and appearance - the leather trim really makes it stylish, especially in the Navy Blue color. We have had several pieces of the Travelpro Maxlite Softside line, and love them all. The Platinum Elite Line is a step up in quality, and still reasonably priced compared to other brands. It is slightly heavier than the Maxlite line. Now we are trying to decide whether to upgrade our other pieces! I noticed that this 16" Underseat Spinner is not shown on the Travelpro website, so it may have been discontinued - order it while you can! It is definitely a genuine Travelpro, not a knock off.

I like traveling around the US and abroad. This little spinner allows me to carry my full-size dslr Canon 5D Mark III. This is a big camera and excellent for low-light conditions without a flash. I usually attach my Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L USM zoom lens to my full size dslr. I also carry my MacBook Air with an external mouse plus charging equipment. So I carry a lot of hardware when I travel. I take a lot of digital images to help me remember my trip. This sturdy little tote spinner allows me to carry my electronics. It has a lot of small pockets to hold a lot of miscellaneous stuff plus a cushioned sleeve for my MacBook Air. Most importantly it takes the weight off of my arms and shoulders while I am standing in line or window shopping in the airport. Its small size will fit in most major jetliner overhead bin.

The size, style, pocket layout, all very good. Two complaints. The main opening cover is opened with two zippers, one going to the left, one to the right. The issue is those zippers have to make a 90 degree turn of1 1/2 inches where the cover attaches to the body. Closing the cover requires pulling on the zippers to get them around this 90 degree turn and this doesn't happen easily, you have to really tug on them while keeping the cover itself stable. If there is content inside the cover pockets, this is more difficult. If there is a single point of failure in this bag, this is it. Second issue: In the main compartment there are two pieces of Velcro flaps, one attached to the bottom of the compartment, and a matching one on the cover. This setup exists on both sides of the bag. The design intent was to have these piece be Velcro together so that if you open the main compartment of the bag when it is upright, the cover and bag compartment do not fall open, the Velcro holds the top and bottom together yet leaving a 3" opening (after the zippers are drawn open), presumably to all you to slide a folder into the compartment. The problem is these flaps always get in the way when the bag is lying flat and you are attempting to close the compartment. I get the idea of not wanting the bag to fall open when it's upright but you really never open the bag that way anyway. Other than that, construction is good, material durable, wheels excellent.

I am a fan of the Travelpro Platinum Elite line. This bag was my third purchase in this series and is handy for a short trip. I was surprised with how much it holds. The pockets are in just the right places. I recommend this roller bag.

Not cheap in price and not cheaply made. Just a bit smaller than the normal carry on. It will fit perfectly underseat as stated.

Handy to have for short overnight trips. Haven’t had to put it under the seat in front of me but fits well in an overhead bin. You don’t risk getting your bag gate checked because it’s well within the size limitations lots of handy pockets and smooth and moves like a dream And the handle extends to whatever size you need it at. I am 5 foot one and my husband 6 feet and it’s comfortable for both of us.

Just returned from vacation, this 16” spinner performed beautiful. Train stations, ferry lines, airports, buses, and the most abuse came from the Italian cobblestone streets. Took picture of wheels upon return today and after all of the miles the wheels still look brand new. Paired with the matching duffle, the set was easy for me to handle and held everything I needed, I do pack efficiently. No tipping, no fighting, looked great, very happy and planning next trip. Just purchased matching backpack to try out.
