Looks like the wipers of my dreams!
Update 4/7/2015 These are the best wiper blades I have ever owned and continue to work perfectly every time. Update 12/12/14: These work great in light and medium rain. They are perhaps the best I have tried so far with smooth even and clear wipes. I have not given them a longer test yet but they work nearly perfectly so far. Original: I can never get good enough wiper blades and I do not mind spending more if it works better. I just installed mine in an alternate form of mounting that was initially confusing until I read the instructions. The obvious attachment methods on all other wiper blades never needed directions but the back side of these pop open like no other I have seen. I will follow up after use but since this is a new product I feel impelled to rave at the quality and solid design. The blade body is much like the Anco winter blades I used to use once because it acts like a paddle to displace snow and rain. The other reviewer said it did bad in ice and snow but it rarely freezes around here so that is not a worry to me. I know this blade will move the rain well for sure. As to the structural design and durability these blades are the best I have ever seen. The pressure points are made from 4 blade holder sections which are ultra strong and well integrated to the design function. The spring presses along the actual blade in fine tuned precision from what I can see and the 4 blade holder sections are integrated into one seamless smooth machine. If it helps me see it is worth it. Testing time! This one spot on the windshield is never clear in hard rain and if it is cleared now I am very happy. If you are smart you will buy two on the December promo as these cost like regular blades now.

Bosh is the best!
Absolutely awesome! I broke my old blade and was forced to purchase a Rainex silicone replacement. Compared to Bosh, rainex might as well been a straw on a stick. Rainex $29 version was trash from wipe one! The Bosh work! They are quieter! Easy to install. They work! Until someone redesigns the wiper, Bosh are the best quality wiper out there!

Nice looks, great performance, and an extraordinary value.
I've been pretty faithful to Bosch Icon wipers, since replacing the OEM wipers on my '13 Charger -- and I've usually been able to score them on a buy-one-get-one deal to ease the pain of their cost. This time around, I noticed these Insight blades, and thought I'd give them a shot. I have to say, in terms of aesthetics, they're VERY similar to Icon blades. I'd almost go as far as saying that the slimmer mount on the Insight blades is sportier than on Icon blades. In any case, Insight blades are wonderful if you're trying to maintain a smooth, contiguous OEM look. Admittedly, there were some differences. Side by side, the most obvious difference is the specific aerodynamics on Icon blades, versus the more generic wind deflection on the Insight blades. In normal driving, I haven't noticed a difference at all. They stay planted up to normal highway speeds. My suspicion is that there's a breakpoint somewhere and once you've crossed it, the Insights go wobbly. Personally, I wouldn't want to be breaking 100 in the rain, but to each their own, I guess. Coverage seems a few millimeters smaller on the 21" side-by-side, but the 24" was dead on. For my specific application, I'd probably go a size up from 21" to 22" next time around. Either way, I was happy to see that these were streak-free. By and large, it's almost difficult to come up with a reason not to buy these instead of Icons, unless there's some really specific need. For the price, I can't say I've seen a better performing wiper -- or one that looks better.

Good blade for the money when on sale
I put Bosch Icon blades on my F150 back in May of 2012 & they are still going strong so I decided to try these Bosch Insight blades on my wife's Ford Fusion to see if I can get similar performance. They went on easy after looking at the picture for the different mounting methods. Had the old blades off and the new ones on in a couple of minutes. It rained right after and the wife was happy that new blades were quiet and actually removed the water. What more can you say. Just hope I get several years out of them. Oh, and they were reasonably priced compared to my Icon blades as Amazon had the pair of Insight blades for $22. Update 3/25/2015 - The blade did not making a clean sweep ever since we put it on the end of 2014. The water streak left on the windshield made it hard to see. So I contacted Amazon as they fulfill the warranty for this item and they sent me a new one w/ next day shipping. I returned the old one at no cost. The new blade appears to be making the proper contact w/ the windshield such that the windshield is actually clear after each downward stroke. I was very impressed w/ how Amazon dealt w/ this issue. I had purchased the blades a couple of months back so I could not simply return the item to Amazon. I am hoping that these blades last as long as my Bosch Icon blades on my truck which are now almost three years old and still going strong after a couple of brutal winters here in the mid-Atlantic region.

So good I got it twice
When one of my car's wipers needed replacement, I got this because it fit the measurements. Putting it on was pretty simple and took no time at all. When I had to use it, it worked well to clear the rain off the windshield. In fact, it worked so well that I got another one when my other wiper blade needed to be replaced. I got these for a 2014 Subaru Forester btw, in case that information is relevant to anyone looking at these.

High price for bad performance
Back in January I replaced the blades on my Tacoma with these which were on a 2 for 1 introductory deal. Even at half the price they were not worth it. Right from the start they wouldn't clear the screen because the blade would not flip for the wipe up so vibrated all the way up not clearing the screen then on the return did not clean up the mess it made on the way up. I must be insane to have put up with this for months. The blades I replaced were Walmart's lowest cost at about $3.00 per blade and they were still working fine at the time. I just ripped off the annoying blade on the driver side and replaced it with the old Walmart blade which I had cautiously, and it turns out wisely, kept. The old blade worked fine immediately. Don't waste your money on Bosch promises. Incidentally I replaced the blades on my Mercedes ML at the same time and my Wife has complained about them ever since. I don't have the old blades so will have to go to Walmart. From an engineering point of view the cleaning edge has either a material or structure design problem, or both. Blade edges must sit for days parked and held flipped in one direction and so will take on a set. However they must be designed to immediately lose the set when used otherwise the result is a hazardous condition due to obscured vision and in addition the intermittent annoying noise as they vibrate across the glass. This is a very common problem, has been for years and must be solved at eh design stage. Apparently Walmart's Chinese supplier has done that.

Great wipers, annoying, flapping plastic piece.
I'm very satisfied with how well these clear the windshield, the performance of the wiper is among the best I've ever seen. But after 3 weeks of use, the little flap that covers the gap where the wiper attaches to the arm continually re-opens and is now flapping up and down as I drive. It uses tension to stay in place and it appears in the heat of the summer the wiper frame has expanded. This expansion reduced the tension of the cover so much that the drag from driving is enough to lift it into my field of vision. I clipped it back in place several times with the same result, until the clips that deliver the tension finally snapped off and now it lifts up every time I hit about 20MPH. So, I'm now playing the Dad game "Superglue or Zip Tie" to fix my new wipers.
