DS. DISTINCTIVE STYLE Cat Litter Scoop Deep Shovel Metal Sifter (Small Round Holes)

I bought this to use as a fossil and shell sifter, so I will not take any stars away since that is not its intended purpose. But for those who wish to use it for fossil, rock, shark teeth, shell, etc. sifting, be prepared for it to bend easily and eventually break. It's not quite durable enough for extreme, rough, or rugged use. (It is a cat litter sifter after all.)

This product is made very cheap, metal handle starts bending after just a few uses, I’ve had 2 break in a matter of weeks. Do not recommend wasting you money.

I purchased this scoop 3/2/2019 and I've been more than satisfied with it. I use regular clay litter, currently have one cat, and scoop about every other day. This scoop has not bent and has small round holes that catch all but the tiniest clumps, yet it doesn't remove more than it should. It's not an exciting product, but it does it's job better than any other litter scooper I've had over the last 25 years that I've been cleaning litter boxes.

I really like this scoop to sift through the litter. I don't like a scoop with wide openings. Although they are easy to use they leave too much clumped litter (small bits) in the box. This scoop is absolutely great for getting all the little bits others leave behind. However, the handle is extremely weak, and bends very, very easily. It's made from aluminum, I believe, and I'm concerned it won't last long. Be nice if they'd add extra support at the juncture of handle and scoop.

What I was looking for size wise but a little flimsy as it is stamped instead of cast like my other scoop

The scoop is not strong when met with resistance ( litter stuck to the bottom of the litter box) and is bending at the joint with the handle. It’s only a matter of time before it breaks.

The sturdiness of this is excellent. You can scoop a lot of cat litter (which can be heavy) and it doesn't snap/break like the plastic scoopers do. The small round holes capture everything. Best scooper, ever!

The media could not be loaded.  The design is very good and love the hole pattern it really pics up more tiny pieces of cat waist but overall the product is a failure because of its cheap build quality The first time you use it you will notice the metal bins very easily between the handle and the scoop where it should be the strongest I would suggest use this one as a secondary scoop after you get all the main big stuff out of the litter box, And even then the metal just bends back-and-forth. What a shame awesome design poor build quality!!! Clearly the manufacturer had profit in mind and not durable longevity!

I was very excited to order an 'affordable' METAL litter scoop. I was highly disappointed when it arrived and used it for the first time, the scoop bent under the weight of both Clay and Pine shavings litter. I routinely clean both litter boxes twice per day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. Then litter boxes and scoops are emptied every other week on Garbage night (the night before morning pick up)I wanted to see how long this scoop would last... So, the scoop was delivered in early July 2019. I used this scoop to clean the Clay Litter, litter box routinely, twice per day, morning and evening. I tried using it in the Pine Litter but the pine pellets/shavings are better suited with slotted scoops. The scoop finally succumbed to the weight and pressure of routine litter box changes on Sunday, October 14, 2019. Or 14 weeks.Please note, if this scoop changes its handle to add a more supportive material and/or thicken the metal where the scoop connects to the handle. The scoop itself was fairly thick and sturdy Aluminum. However, the handle has too many bends and weak points although it does look aesthetically pleasing.I gave 2 stars due to the handle breaking off in 14 weeks, otherwise, the scoop minus the handle is sturdy and is perfect for clay or granulated litter.

The scoop it sturdy but the thinnest part at the handle has a weak spot. It bent on first use, then snapped clean on half.

Bent pretty quickly. If it were more sturdy it would be awesome

Worst product ever shovel broke off after 2nd use

This is horribly designed, it bent like a pipe cleaner when I used it the very first time.. Don't waste your money.. I give it no stars..but had to rate it ...
