These are great for machining wood products! the reverse helix is really gentile on the wood and many more of my products survive the machining process with these as opposed to standard helix endmills. I make wooden bodied microphones (feather microphones, to see what these endmills are capable of) and these endmills are indispensable. The price has gone up lately, but they are worth it. I get about 40 hours of cutting time at 26K RPM on composite woods, Ash, and harder woods (Ipe/ironwood) out of each bit.

Wow! I’ve never seen such clean edges on Baltic birch ply. Highly recommend for use with cnc routers.
