Speedo Unisex-Youth Swim Cap Silicone Junior

My daughter loves her swim cap. Her only issue she has had was that it was hard for her to get on, besides that she has stated that this was the best cap she has had, and even tries to wear it in the shower. Would definitely recommend this item if your kid is in swimming

This product fit great and works well. My daughter is 6.5yrs old and I was worried with the youth “one size fits all” but decided to try it out anyway. Speedo makes really wonderful youth swim goggles that work and fit great as well. She wears to swim lessons each week without any issues. The key is to tie the hair up (if it’s long) into a tight low bun first, then stretching it from front to back.

After nearly 20 years as a competitive swimmer who always bought speedo suits and caps, I’ve been really surprised at the junk sold on amazon (and in Target) with the speedo label on it. I’m often disappointed buying especially goggles for my kids for swim team, and then realizing they are junk- not the original and great speedo equipment. This cap is real! And great! Ultimately a silicon cap should last 3-6 months of daily swim practices, and this one seems up to the job. I prefer silicon (vs. latex) because it’s better on hair and lasts way longer. Latex caps rip easily and also tear hair. My daughter has a very sensitive head and this cap is working. I recommend to other parents. It’s worth the expense!

A very good swim cap. The silicone is soft, stretchy, and easy to put on without pulling the hair. It fits the head well, keeps hair protected, and is very comfortable to wear throughout the entire swim session. Excellent quality for the price; I recommend it. Although it is a bit small, it is only for children under 4 years old.

Good size and more practical and comfortable than other brands and types

Fits my six-year-old granddaughter perfectly and as soon as she figures out exactly how to get her massive amount of hair into it, her hair will remain dry. Even though she didn't get her hair in the right way it still stayed a lot dryer than it would normally have gotten. Love that it glides over her hair and doesn't stick or pull her hair. She loves the bright pink color. UPDATE: Downgraded this to two stars because the third time she used this it ripped. I expected a lot more from Speedo. Have ordered The Friendly Swede Silicone Long Hair Swim Caps (2 Pack), Hot Pink, Purple and will review them when they arrive. 11/16 UPDATE: I ordered this again in pink and blue, the blue one was fine till it got washed in the washer. The new pink one was used for the first time tonight and ripped, not at the seam but at the top. I don't know if there is a problem with the pink color, but I'm done with these Speedo caps.

Not for 5yr old kid, it is quite big and water gets in. Its made of very good quality, will definitely lasts long and does not get sticky like the regular ones. Looks good too but wish they made smaller ones

It does pull the hair a little upon removal, but otherwise no complaints. Works well to keep my child’s curly hair dry and it looks very cute!
