Good putter
Good putter for the money. I went from the world’s worst putter to an average putter

Great beginner putter!!
I’m new to the game. I had some Ping Eye 2 red dot irons that I bought a while back and never used, but I had no other clubs. I bought used drivers and hybrids, but I couldn’t find a used putter to complete my set. This is the first one that popped up on Amazon and I figured I couldn’t go wrong for such a low price. This putter is great. My instructor and several golfers commented on it’s attractive finish (which isn’t perfect but it’s $40) and the long black line on the top of the head really helps me get my putter face square and my body aligned. Ball feels good off the strike and I love the weight and feel. The grip is more than adequate...feels really nice and soft in the hand. All in all a phenominal deal. I really think the big head is key for beginners especially to help them line everything up...

Good putter
So far I’ve only used on aerated greens. The putter head is on the heavy side. It’s easy to line up. I like it and need better conditions for a true evaluation.

OUTSTANDING
First off, I'd like to preface this by saying I've been playing golf for about 23 years, I'm about a 7 handicap. I bought this to try out a mallet style without breaking the bank. I had previously only played with blade style putters and had intended to buy something better in the mallet style if I saw an improvement around the greens with this. What I had NOT expected, was for this $40 putter (I think I used some Amazon CC points at the time and paid only $15) to be completely revolutionary to my game. I'm going on about 90 rounds with this putter and it's shaved SEVERAL strokes off my game. This thing is deadly accurate, and the weight and response off the face is absolutely spot on. I personally really enjoy the lie angle and how it positively contributes to forcing you into taking a straight back and forth stroke. Add in the fact that no other mallet in the market has a milled area on the bottom for picking up your ball (which has turned heads with every person I've played with) and you've got a putter here that's way underpriced for what it offers. I was extremely weary looking at the reviews because everyone was talking about the face falling off and the paint chipping - as I mentioned I'm going on round 90 and other than real small amount of grass staining (it is white after all) the putter still looks good as new. I think as long as you keep the cover (included) on in between holes like you would for any other high end mallet, you shouldn't need to worry so much about chipping in the paint or face issues. For reference here, as I mentioned I picked this up with the intention of replacing it with a more main stream mallet; I think I bought it in around February 2020. Well, in October 2020, I went out and treated myself to a nice new Taylormade Spider. I was all excited to get out on the course with it to play, and when I finally did, I shot probably 5-6 strokes higher than I would have normally. Figuring it was a fluke and I needed to get used to it, I played probably around 15 more rounds with it, each progressively worse until I finally said "What changed? Why am I playing so much worse?" Then I looked at my scores and when I started shooting worse, oh yeah, the PUTTER change! I swapped back recently and my scores immediately shot back down, I think my 2nd round back with it I drained 3, 15-20 foot putts including an eagle putt. Needless to say, my fancy new Spider is currently up for sale on Craigslist and I learned a valuable lesson that just because it's expensive, doesn't mean it's going to necessarily work better, and that with this piece of equipment, it really doesn't need to be replaced because IT WORKS and it works WELL. If you're on the edge about picking this up, go for it, you won't be disappointed. I'll be ordering a second myself just so I have a backup should anything happen to this one, it's become that important in my bag.UPDATE: 3 years later and this is still in my bag in 2023 and not going anywhere. I keep it in its head cover when I'm not putting and I haven't had any paint chipping or damage. I've noticed that the slot that picks up the ball isn't as sharp as it once was, but it still picks up the ball every 9 of 10 tries. I switched my grip out to a super stroke with the interchangeable weight system last year and changed the weight to the heaviest one and it balanced the whole thing out perfectly - last year I dropped my handicap to a 4 and won my golf league and I think my putting was a big part of it.

Not just a pretty face - a putting revelation.
After reading some impressive reviews, I decided to buy into the hype and drop $40 to replace my old putter, which I'd never really gotten along with. Having only been back in the game for a few years, I wasn't about to blame my tools but I was missing putts more often than I should. I just never got the feel of my previous putter and couldn't consistently gauge the swing or strike.Today, I played my first round with the PGX, with zero practice beforehand. The first hit was for real on the first hole, 15ft to barely 2 inches from the hole. The weight and balance are great and I even joked that " this thing must be battery powered", as it seemed to calculate the required speed and direction required from the first hole to the last. It seemed I could do no wrong, with the natural feel helping me judge the swing on each and every hit. Unlike my tee shots, there wasn't a single putting stroke that I wasn't happy with. Any shortcomings were clearly mine and this club did its utmost to cover anything lacking in my green skills.I've always thought that clubs were 10% of the game with the golfer providing the other 90% but in this case, I honestly believe that the Pinemeadow PGX has dramatically improved my game, and without doubt saved me several strokes in this first round, and making follow up putts much shorter than they may have otherwise been. This is the best golf purchase I've ever made. It looks great, feels great and plays even better.

A very nice putter at a great price.
Putter is of good quality and comes with a very nice head cover. Aligns nicely and has a good setup and feel. Nice weight and balance. Making more putts with it. Have been struggling with other putters. Decided to give this a try rather than experiment with an expensive putters. The reviews are very positive, and with good reason. I love this putter!

As good as the budget allows
TLDR- If you are on a budget and need a putter this will do the jobIncluded in box- The putter was wrapped in a plastic sleeve and put in the box, no frillsMaterials/ build quality- The grip is pretty standard, has enough grip and seems to last. The shaft is chrome and has no real issues. The putter head is where it feels cheap, it feels and sounds hollow which can surprisingly throw you off your game, the face plate of the putter seems to be loosely glued on and could potentially fall off and render the club useless. The club as a whole seems to be top heavy, meaning the head is so light it feels like you are just swinging a grip and a shaft.Functionality- This putter functions as it should/ as the price permitsGood- The color scheme is very attractive, guide lines are very clear and accurateBad- The hollow feeling is a big negative for me, also the face plate could be an issueRecommendation- I would suggest waiting and buying a higher quality club unless you absolutely need a putter quick and on the cheap

Unbelievable value for money
I bought this putter because it was cheap, just to use on the putting mats in my apartment so I didn’t have to keep bringing my normal putter, which is an Odyssey, up and down to my golf bag which I keep in my car.. Then I realized it had really nice weight in it so I tried it on the golf course and actually loved it so much I gave my Odyssey putter away and then ordered a second one of these as am playing with this one now on the course and at home! It’s so good, I love the weight (I’m a lady golfer but play with men’s graphite clubs) , handle is great and overall quality for me is super. Can’t recommend this enough, for the price it’s an absolute gem!!
