Tuning out in order to cope with having no friends.

I'm not a Rita Hayworth fan and if it wasn't for the fact that she appeared with Cary Grant in 'Only Angels Have Wings', and 'Salome' with Charles Laughton and Stewart Granger, I wouldn't have bothered reading this book.
