Great balancer
Only negative thing about this is the slight whine it makes. It was noticeable right after hooking it up but over time it became less noticeable. Seems like this isn't unique to this particular balancer or brand though, so I'm not upset about it and knew to expect it when I bought it. As for the balancing performance, it works very well. Within 48 hours of hooking this up my batteries were equalized with the BMS reading within <0.5ah of each other. I actually have two of these running on separate battery arrays and they have both been great. Can't think of any reason to get one of the more expensive balancers.

A “Must Product” for 48 volt(4-12v’s) lithium powered golf carts.
I have used lithium batteries for about four years on two separate 48v golf carts, one with 4 12v batteries and one with a 48v battery, and over that time I have numerous issues and have had several batteries replaced under warranty. My last problem was the one with the 4 12’s. One or more of the batteries seemed to go down before the others and the cart would stop. When checked all of the batteries proved good. The problem was an erratic discharging which this equalizer handled and the cart has never run better or longer. This a a must product for anyone with a 48v lithium powered golf cart. . Don‘’t think twice about installing it, just do it.

Worked 2.5 months then got hot.
Got this on Jan 15 2026. Worked great since then till a few days ago when the system shut down low voltage and the balancer was very hot, but but not enough to burn you. Left it to see if it would bring things back in line but it stayed that way for a couple days. Then I swapped it into an identical 48v system with the same exact model balancer that worked fine and it got hot again right away. Put the original back and it's still cool like always. Sent feedback to vendor to see if they will help.

It worked, but now it doesn't work, and now no return
Did exactly what it was suppose to do. Balanced the voltages between the batteries and then balanced the percentage of charge between the batteries. I took off a star because some of the 19 inch leads were not long enough for my vertical stacked batteries. Update: I have a dead battery and the leads going to that battery from the PowMr equalizer show nothing when doing a resistance test with voltmeter. The other 3 leads from the PowMr equalizer show 276 kOhms. I'm going to try for a refund or I might go with a replacement if they can explain to me as to what happened. Because of a heart attack and stent insertion and being hospitalized from 29 Jan thru 2 Feb I wasn't able to follow through on a refund before my 30 day return window closed on 7 Feb.

Good product, easy to install
Easy to set up and the wires are clearly marked. After installing, my 12V batteries stay much more balanced. The connectors feel solid and the unit is compact. Works as expected and gives peace of mind for battery health.

So far so good!
I was having some MAJOR inconsistencies in the battery voltages between my four batteries in parallel and series configurations for my 24 volt bank. The first battery was getting up to 18 volts and the last one was getting down to 9 volts occasionally. I didn’t know what the heck was wrong but then I learned that the first and last batts usually get the majority of the current draw and charge which make the charger think the batteries are full when some aren’t. Doing an equalization is not good for the batteries. So far this thing is working great and keeping at the batteries dead level on voltage! There is a inefficiency to consider as it does use some power and releases it as heat but is far better than prematurely wearing out my batteries.

Worked great for a week, then caught on fire!
The good: I wired this up to four 12V/200Ah LiFePO4 batteries in series, one of which was noticeably lower in capacity than the rest, and it took about a day to bring them all within 10mV of each other. The so-so: I can't really say that equalizing all the batteries at the top helped much with extending the usable capacity, but it did, at least, stop that low-capacity battery from hitting 17V+ while the other three were still at 13.6V or so. This equalier does - er, did - make a faint high pitched whining sound in operation but I didn't find it to be loud enough to be objectionable; YMMV. The bad: It caught on fire, obviously, but the actual cause is a mystery since the battery was balanced and around 60% SoC. There are two MPPT solar charge controllers set to 56.2V max that can supply up to 30A or so total (only 4 x 225W panels for each of them) and an outboard 54.6V / 15A charger as well, but it wasn't running at the time of failure, so it doesn't seem like it was a case of excessive current. Note that this same equalizer is marketed under various brand names but all look very similar - I wouldn't trust any of them at this point, but if you can't resist the siren song of a cheap price, I strongly recommend splicing a 15A fuse inline with each positive wire.

I wish they were less expensive, but they do add tremendous utility even at this price.
They're easy to use, and they give significantly longer functional lifespan to 48v batteries built out of smaller 12v batteries. On golf cart conversions, these nearly double the range. They encourage even loading of the smaller batteries, and extend their lifespan significantly. They also make it much easier to wake the batteries back up if the BMS disables them due to over-charging; you can use a standard booster box to wake up one 12v battery, and the BMS tries to balance all 4, meaning they all wake up without having to jump each battery separately. They do get a little warm during extended use, but they don't heat up at all when balancing my solar batteries.
